@@TinkerSofi we made our own invites, we did a gate fold card, and tied them with purple ribbon (actually just finished them last night, I'll try get pics up soon.)
I went to a stationary shop, and the assistant was able to advise me on what card would be the best for the card part, and the paper for the insert inside. She showed me how to put the invite together, and made me a sample one for me to go by. I used a 200g a4 card, and 120g paper for the insert inside, and purple organza ribbon.
The assistant was able to cut the paper to size for me, and let me make creases for folding ( they had a special machine for making folds) otherwise you could use a bone folder to get neat folds on your card. We got the invites printed at an Irish equivalent to Staples, cost about 25 € (30 USD) for 30 pages. The type of printer you use, can depend on what type of paper you go for, we used opal shimmer paper, so they used laser, ink jet would have run on the paper.
