Trash-The-Dress Poll!
krisdaversa replied to karahmia's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I love it! My FI isn't a fan because he think my dress may get damaged but he has agreed to do it, plus after talking to our photographers who are flying down with us who had a destination wedding and did a trash the dress he felt much better about it! -
That is too funny! I have two ikeas close to me but when I lived in Texas boy that was a 5 hour drive to get to one!

Hi! So my FI was beyond close to his grandmother and she had passed away last year. I am getting him a charm for his boutonniere and then thought I would get one for his sister who is in our wedding party. My question is, are you getting mother of the bride/groom flowers? because then I would get the soon to be MIL a charm as well. https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/62244950/custom-mini-charm-photo-memory-soldered

You are very welcome, I know how frustrating it was not being able to upload pictures. I got them from Ikea They have 3 different sizes, they come in red and white and they also have 2 sizes of trays...bought one of the larger trays for my perfumes.

@@csho I seriously am not a fan of this new site but if you click the 'More Reply Options' beside the 'Post' button it shows you the old way where you just click choose file and attach this file I also picked up these this weekend, I am going to get battery operated tea lights and I also picked up larger ones to place the bouquets in from the bridal party

@@JMK923 your list is amazing! I love it! -
This is what I did to ask my bridesmaid. White kraft box with 27 dresses and bridesmaid DVDs, mini bottle of champagne and a ring pop. I also made them a tshirt with their position in the wedding party. I made a card that said: Laugh with me Cry with me Stand with me Plan with me Will you be my Bridesmaid?

@@Carlicardenas I was debating on the out of town bags too for a while. I gathered all the information (what I wanted to put in the bags, cost, etc) at the end I have decided not to do an out of town bag for a few reasons. As much as I love them!and they they are super cute, I feel the are kind of a waste of money for me. Everyone coming to the wedding have been travelling for years so they will automatically bring the items I would have put in a bag and I am sure none of it or very little of it would have be used or thrown out in Cuba. So I have decided we are going to give them: -Tumblers (with my monogram I had designed on it) -Room Key Holder -Bright Sunglasses (I found a great deal oh DHGate, I personally love traveling with cheap sunglasses when i go to markets or explore in case they get broken or stolen ) -Oh Shit Kit!- Band-aids, alcoholic wipes, Advil, pepto -Hand Sanitizer Over all cost I am looking at spending will be about $6 per person Plus I am going to make wine charms (6 per bag) and give them at the wedding as a thank yo (all my friends and family are big wine drinkers or always have larger parties)

@@muneera0302 I hear ya on the posting of pictures! I think the only way to do it is to add the pictures to your gallery and then add them? or at least thats how I was able to do it but loved the old way better!

I think I saw it either on Pinterest or Etsy? I went to Winners found a small frame I liked and then went to the Dollar Store, they were selling them on Etsy for $25+ I made mine for less then $10. I'm excited but I know the year will go fast, we are already half way through January. You must be excited, yours is so close! Do you have much left to do?

Wedding Week Survival Kit
krisdaversa replied to csho's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Hi!, I have ordered 3 times from dhgate and have had no issue other then the item taking forever to come! Same when I order from ebay and the item is coming from China it take about a month or more to come. If it says free shipping, it is free shipping. You pay dhgate and then dhgate turns around and pays the seller. I am not too sure where you live but in Canada if you order something online and it doesn't come they refund your money. I had ordered something off ebay in December and it never came, I tried contacting the seller and still nothing it was past the 45 days for ebay so I called my back explained and they gave my money back. -

Did you! I was just thinking of ordering a purple one! I have seen similar ones at bikini village for $39 so $10 is a steal! let me know how it is when you get it...unless I buy one first
