Sometimes it took a while for her to write back to my emails. That seems to be the norm down here in Mexico though, and I have come to accept it. The lace cupcake wrappers were bought on Ebay and I gave them to her to set up when she delivered the cupcakes. We also had cotton candy which was stuck into our vintage trunk on a pole. We got this from a local vendor in town. The cotton candy held up through the night but by the morning the leftovers were a plastic bag of melted, wet sugar! So fun! I love it!

So it CLICKED when he wa watching F1 this sunday twhat I would get him. I am giong to buy him a weekend pass to F1 racing in MTL or somewhere in the states. ( i originally was going to purchase the ticket, but then decided to make him a 'coucher" so that way he can pick where he wants to sit and which one he wants to go to. ) So I will make him a legit looking ticket for it and then i am going to get him a F1 model for his desk at work and for him to have soemthing to open when we get married. I was going to get a watch, but he has so many already Love the idea of the budoir book, that has been something I have been playing around with in my head and I think I am going to do it. My FI is also into cars but corvettes we/he just bought one so I will have to get him something on the lines of that

It cost me 215$ which included the cost of the dress, shipping and customs. I am so happy with it! the picture from the website The actual dress - so much prettier with all the beading (which was completely unexpected) beautiful dress! and great price!

At this point I am fairly easy going as long as it's a hotel that is kept up well/not run down and I would really like a 5 star hotel as hotels are a little differnt in Cuba but I really like the the Melia Las Dunas hotel my parents went there and loved it! and I think its beautiful but its a little far for any kind of day trips and my FI loves RIU hotels (right next to yours)

  12. This is what I'm doing as well, a sunday brunch but we are also going to FI's church to get blessed as this is important to his mom so we will invite everyone there and we are also saying no gifts! I did however invite everyone to come with us to the destination wedding even though I knew they wouldn't come i just didn't want them to feel left out or not important to us
  13. I know this is an older thread but I bought a white box put light blue and a darker blue tissue paper in it added a ring pop, 27 dresses dvd and a card I made that said 'laugh with me, cry with me, plan with me, stand with me. will you be my bridesmaid?' then I tired it up with white and ivroy ribbon and added baby blue and white butteryflies
  14. Hello ladies! We haven't offically picked a place yet but this Saturday we will be. We have gone to 8 travel agents. Some good and some not so good but they all came back with crazy prices! I honestly shocked! We looked all over for destination to try and get something for $1,500 and under with taxes for January 2015 but that was not happening (I was also a little picky with Hotels) so we have decided that Cuba is the best place for our guest budget. So far I have sent out save the date cards, more so because I wanted to get a number of people who wanted to be included in the group rate and to let people know that this is what we were planning so they could start saving as some of them are families of 4+ people. I have picked up a few things for the OOT bags and found other ideas I have saved. I thought that if I bought one or two things a month it wouldn't seem so bad on my wallet or should I say my FI's wallet
  15. I love the stamps! I was going to make some but Canada post has some Superman ones out right now that I loveso I went with those and saved some money as I am sure my guest wouldn't even really look at them for more then a few seconds
