@@ASAtobe as far as i know so far everyone is using our travel agent! None of my friends/family are big travels except for one of my cousins and his family travel quite often! So its just easier for everyone to use our TA. Though i have started to wonder if we will have "last min" bookers waiting for a good deal...makes it hard to order everything and plan accordingly

@@keezy Thats a great idea or just have all men waiting at the front and the girls walk down by themselves! that how i plan to do it even though our numbers match

@@keezy Ah thats tricky but no where in the book does it say it HAS TO balance! When we first started asking people i was going to have more Maids then my FI was going to have men. This sounds HORRIBLE but maybe some of his men will back out as well....If you have already asked them i was advise against unasking them... Do you have any family who you know if coming or that your close with that you could ask?

@@keezy No not yet! our deposit date is the end of June and I am not 100% sure on number yet! So i wanna make sure i get enough and not way to many! I pretty much know there will be 6 in the wedding party[this includes flower girl and ring bearer] + my FI and I so i could place my order on those! I think i have just had so many drop out that I am nervous to spend the money and have more drop out so once deposits are in i will place my order

@@keezy Thats super hard! I know i started with a huge bridal party that was i nervous about because i offered to buy the dresses since they will be buying there own tickets! but now i just have my MOH and 1 bridesmaid and my flower girl of course So my silver lining is i am going to save a bunch of money on dresses and gifts and get to spoil the wedding party and guest who do come

@@nikkicraig10 I am not 100% sure but i am planning on giving them out once we get there i think the Air Port would be to hectic! Just one more thing to pack!

So my plan for OOT "bags" is fairly simple! I am getting tumbler cups because anyone whos ever been to Cuba knows that the little cups they give you just aren't good enough! You end up carrying one in each hand! So i figured some nice cups would be key This is what i was thinking for guests [personalized to us obviously] and this for wedding party... I LOVE these cups and you get to design them for what type of dresses your girls are wearing. I think the tuxes are pretty generic. Instead of having a bag i would like to fill the cups with things just looking for ideas some i already have are: Band aids Advil/ Tylenol that's it! i suck lol keep in mind i don't want anything to heavy or pricey!

@@immelsara I found a wedding website was the best way because guest coudl RSVP online as well and if there was any updates you could make them online.

@@CurlyKristen I know how you feel! My really good friend isnt coming to my wedding not because of the location but because shes pregnant [which is more understandable] but i hadn't talked to her in 2 weeks since she told me and of course shes telling everyone I'm not happy for her and I am mad at her so i have to make her feel better about not coming when i am the one whos hurting

@@Maggietron I would for sure talk to a travel agent! Even if your not 100% on a resort they can help you. I don't know if its the same in Mexico as with Cuba [i am getting married in Cuba] but we needed to be in the country for 3 days prior to getting married and also they don't do weddings on the weekend! I wanted to get married Feb 22 but that was a Sunday and was going to be a pain in the butt to work that out so now we care getting married on the 25th instead! Good luck with your planing

@@tygrrlily I know exactly how you feel she wasn't my MOH but was one of my bridesmaids. Its funny cause we joked about the "Danger zone" for getting pregnant and how i should sent everyone birth control or condoms with a note about being safe. The day she showed up at my house and said she needed to talk to me i thought it was going to be about money or something but nope low and behold shes pregnant. Its hard to be upset with someone and happy for them at the same time but i did the right thing and smiled told her everything would be ok i was happy for her not to worry about it ext ext. Granted after she left i went and laid in my bed and cried for about an hour. I hadn't talked to her for about 2 weeks since she told me not because i was avoiding her but because we just hadn't talked. Well i heard through the grape vine that she was going around telling everyone how i was pissed off at her and wasn't happy for her and ignoring her which really irritated me because she hadn't even tried to contact me at all. So again i was the bigger person and went and talked to her telling her i wasnt upset and i was happy for her ext ext. It sucks because i feel like people are letting me down but i am the one who needs to make them feel better about it. lol and i just noticed it was you i was talking about this with in my topic! lol!! sorry

@@MrsRoy Ya you buy a design package [for me was under 20$] you fill out a form of your name your FI name what you would like your invite to say, where your getting married when you want RSVP by your wedding website [if you have one]. They give you choices for Font and Colour and Picture. You get so many revisions [i think mine was 4] We also got to pick the colour of the paper and envelope. The lady i delt with [Abby] was amazing get communication was great she sent me lots of pictures and they turned out better then i could have hoped! They were a little pricy but when your not inviting many people i figured why not go all out and get amazing invites. I have one of them framed on our wall and i still can't stop looking at it lol

@@tygrrlily Yes we are having an AHR nothing big i am in the process of looking for places to have that right now. I want it to be extremely cost effective so i am in the process of trying to fine a nice cheap place outside! On our wedding website it talks about how we will be having an AHR but have no details i never really thought of leaving it out because maybe people would just choose the cheaper route...but now i am wondering if i should of. I would never miss any of my friends/close families weddings but sometimes you forget not everyone feels the same way you do! I also read a post on here about AHR Guest favors....are you planning on doing this? This thought never crossed my mind until i read about it on this site. Of course who ever comes to the DW are getting favors! @@ASAtobe We are getting married Feb 25, 2015 so our deposits are due by June 19th! so its getting close! Everyone is starting to book now but at the same time a lot are dropping out now. I think we will probably have around 20 people most of which are my FI friends and family, I am just thankful my MOH which is also my cousin her and her bf and son are coming. @@BusyBee280 I wish we could afford to pay for everyone to come! i have been debating even just paying for my 1 friend who i know can't afford it...but really we can'y afford it either especially with having an AHR as well. I never thought of people booking there own tickets through there own travel agent...i did wonder though if people would wait to get like "last min deals" but then i need to know how many people are coming so i can make sure we have enough favors and enough places for dinner ext ext..

I don't think there is a "too long" I am getting married in Feb and plan on having the AHR anytime from June-Aug so we can have it outside in the summer.

I have never really been into the whole long massive veil and i LOVE the Bird Cage look! Though when you look it up its a lot of people with short hair and i plan on wearing my long hair pulled to the side but down....has anyone worn a bird Cage with long hair down?? Does anyone know how to upload a picture and not a link? so Even Noobs can see it?

You are 100% not wrong, My mother tried to do this [my mother and i have a very rocky relationship] however they didn't just book. I asked her if there was anyone who wasnt on my wedding list she thought should be and she mentioned that she was going to see if her friends from the camp would come [i have met these people twice and am not fond of them AT ALL] Well i explained to her that no its just close family and friends i got the reply "well its an open resort and you can't stop people from coming" guah! i just explained to her that no i couldn't but i wouldn't be impressed and they wouldn't be invited to the wedding.
