Hi I am getting married in Playa del Carmen, I already have my ceremony taking care of but am looking for a venue on the beach or overlooking the beach, i have received a quote from Sandos and the price is perfect, does anyone have any info regarding these resorts (Eco and Playacar)? thank you!

Any house in playacarphase 1, what do you mean by wickeys as being the same private? I have contacted grand coral and since my wedding will be on monday they offered a 50% discount on the rental fee, all I'm looking for a simple dinner on the beach with mariachi, what would you recommend? Hi, Initially I was looking at a villa for our reception but too many restrictions, now I cant decide between Canibal Royal and Grand Coral or just Wicky's. Does anyone have any suggestions, we're about 30 people. I don't have a huge budget either, Im trying to plan everything myself to save the wedding planner fee but I'm wondering if wedding planners get a better rate on everything? Does anyone know if i have to use a wedding planner to book at Wicky's? Any advise/comments/suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Wow, that wedding looked super awesome! What is the budget one is looking to have for a wedding like that minus the pyrotechnics? How far is that villa or one like it from the chapel on 5th? What if the reception is during the day would it still be able to be done at playacar? thank you for sharing the video!

OMG! A villa wedding sounds amazing! I was actually looking into this as well but I wanted to stay close to PDC because I will be getting married in the Chapel on 5th. How far is Puerto Aventuras from PDC? I also would have to accommodate at least 20 guest and they are on a budget as well as I am. Is it possible to have a reception on the beach in playacar fase 1 in front of the beach house that I will be renting?

Hi! Has anyone ever had a reception on the beach in playacar residential community? I need help! I am getting married in Playa del Carmen. I am having a religious ceremony at the chapel of Nuestra Señora del Carmen. Now the difficult part is the reception!!! Initially was thinking just a dinner at a restaurant on the beach but as soon as I mentioned wedding they hike up the prices 200%. Then I figured I could just rent a house on the beach and celebrate there now it turns out I also need a permit to have anything on the beach. I am so lost right now, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks a mil, Debbi
