Hi ladies!! Caught a minutes to post really quick! Met Joseline this morning and had a great walk thru of each of our events. They really do have it together! Did a dry run for hair today and they are SUPERB!!!!! Each of our private events have been spectacular. The service here is undeniably wonderful. Each of my 40 guests have never stopped talking about how wonderful everything has been. Once you are here you will relax!! I had more meltdowns the weeks leading up to my wedding than I have had my whole life.... all for nothing. :/ Will post again post wedding!!!!

I wish I had the list of approved vendors still but the list I was sent thru dropbox no longer works. Keep being nicely persistent ladies-- eventually you will get your answers! Best wishes all! I am headed to the resort in the morning! Cannot even believe the time has come! I have guests already at the resort and they have raved about everything thus far... I hope that continues! Will post when I get back!!

I just wrote my vows. Anyone else doing the traditional vow script with the addition of a personal message to the bride/groom? Leaving in 4 days.... YIKES!!

@@LTR I think the trial run is $180. Definitely worth the money to ensure I get exactly what I am looking for on my wedding day!

@@llevasseur We leave in exactly 1 week! I was told nicely by one of my coordinators to "stay off the internet, its too early to tell what the weather will be like in a week and a half. Things change daily around the Caribbean. You're making yourself crazy" I laughed really hard! I actually needed to be told directly to just knock it off! Tell me how it is and I will listen. My goal is to not check the weather until we get there! Why give myself a heart attack? I know it'll be beautiful either way!! I will let everyone know how it goes. Happy planning everyone!!!!!

Thanks ladies. I have sent an email to my photographer and OS coordinator. Hopefully they will have some ideas and can come up with a plan B before our wedding day! :/

Can anyone advise on what you have done or are planning to do if there is rain on your wedding day?! All of my wedding decorations, tables, lighting I have rented is designed for our outside reception. I look at the weather for next week and absolutely panic!!!! HELP!!

Just about a week away from leaving! Feeling the pressure to pack and get everyone's questions answered. I've had great contact with Joseline my onsite coordinator so far! I think we have everything settled for the week of wedding events. Fingers crossed we can stay dry.... the weather is not looking for next week! :/

@@LTR I have scheduled my hair and makeup for my wedding day at the Golf Resort Spa at Moon Palace. The prices seem fair and their work has been highly rated by lots of brides. I think its $180 for hair and makeup but you can use resort credits. I also have scheduled a practice run thru for 2 days before my wedding. I leave in less than 2 weeks. I can let you know upon my return!!

I bought a rolling garment bag from ebags. Its blue and can't remember the name at the moment. It is going to fit my dress, atleast 5 of my FI shirts and enough spare clothes for 2 days. Its AWESOME!!! I highly recommend finding something on wheels if you are having to lug stuff thru airports! Plus it cut our carryons in half... not I have more space to bring the rest of my crap on the plane!

But I am so in love with my dress I can't even imagine any other gown! I can't wait to get my dress back from my seamstress!! She is working her magic.. what spanx cannot do.... my seamstress can!!! hahahaa I've told my fiance that my best accessory is my spanx. I think he almost died laughing. Have to find humor in all of this!!! Signed my final PO and have been assigned Josphine as my on-site coordinator. Everything has gone so smoothly this week and everyone I have been in contact with has been super helpful! Couldn't be more ready to get down there! 2 weeks from today!!

@@llevasseur My dress is Allure 8800 Absolutely in love with it! I have my alterations appointment on Tuesday and should have it back by the end of the week! We have been packing and making detailed event sheets all day... I am feeling more and more prepared! LOVE your dress!!! I was too scared to try on any mermaid styles. My hips and thighs are a bit wide for that!! Anyone having a bachelorette party on property?!! Would love to hear what you are doing if youa re planning one!

Hi Ladies! I was having the hardest time thinking of a clever guestbook for a destination wedding. I came across this on etsy and love it! My FI really likes it as well... he is hard to please at times! @@llevasseur I cry all the time. Last night my lovely FI sat with me patiently while I cried for 40 minutes. Thank goodness for our men! I don't know who my on-site is. I am waiting on that email today. I will let you know!! How is your planning going? I think we are ready to go. I will have to send you pictures of how we are doing the reception area!

Getting all of the last minute projects done is killing me! I really really need to pack! Departing in 21 days.... YIKES!! My dress is also arriving tomorrow. Talk about down to the wire for alterations. Exciting times ladies!!!!!

I am three weeks from departure and have been turned over to my on-site coordinator. I received my final PO yesterday and it is very detailed with all of our preferred requests listed. So far, I have had a fabulous experience with Abril my off site coordinator!! Will let you all know how the next 3 weeks go! I am quite excited.... stressed... and ready for the trip! I do need to start packing soon!!

Leaving in 25 days. I am sitting down tonight and not going to sleep until I have everything printed and in my wedding binder. I am so frazzled with all that has to be done that I need some organization time. I've cried almost everynight... turned to ice cream bars for comfort... then cried about eating the ice cream bar. I am very ready for the enjoyment to start and the overwhelmed feelings to go away! I have also had night terrors!

Fellow October Brides!!! I feel like I need to scream for a week straight. So many more last minute things to do. I am sooooo ready to get there and enjoy myself!!! I've been calm and relaxed up until this week-- Bridezilla may come out soon!

@@Amber2686 I don't have the 2015 vendor list and unfortunately the online catalogs link that I had is no longer a good link! I am using Gama Grupo for my wedding in October and so far I have had a wonderful experience with communication and pricing has been fair.

@@HayleyJ I would call the weddings department and ask if she is available. They can look up your wedding and see if something has been changed on your account by using your wedding confirmation number. I hadn't heard from my room coordinator in a couple months after several emails and called... come to find out she was on maternity leave and I had been re-assigned a new coordinator. No one even let me know that change had been made. Hope this helps! I am at the 90 mark and just beginning all of the detailed plans.
