Did you still end up with being able to do free unlimited events or did you not book 75 room nights? I am really worried about not making the 75 room nights and not being able to have a fabulous reception and cocktail hour! I agree with having the guests pay for the day pass. 20% of your total guests isn't much when i'm only expecting at max 30 guests total! I will have to just be clear with the guests and allow them to contact the hotel to figure it out.

I have some family/friends not booking at Moon Palace and staying at another resort. Has anyone had experience with getting day passes to their wedding? I am so confused with all of the rules of how many passes I can get and how much they are. Plus I think there are fees if I want to include them in our reception... Help!? I was hoping not to have to deal with this... I advised everyone to stay on property to avoid this issue and the confusion. Plus they wont get to enjoy the rest of the wedding festivities throughout the week!

I have the Zuniga catalog for 2014 in my email. I am getting married in October at Moon Palace. I am fairly sure all Palace resorts use the same approved vendor list. I have all of the approved vendors as of last month and their catalogs. Private message me your email address and I can forward them your way! I am choosing to use Gamma Grupo as the decorator and not Zuniga.

Hi everyone! Has anyone had any experience with the on-site approved photographers at Moon Palace? I am wondering if its worth paying the outside vendor fee or if the approved vendor photographers do a fine job. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks all!

I will private message you. I have both Zuniga and Gama Grupos catalog with prices. My coordinator has been super responsive and helpful with coordinating everything I would like from Grupo. I've received 3 different updated quotes within 2 days. This is pretty good since response time seems to be a little slow!

I just received the latest list of approved vendors for 2014 via email from my coordinator. Has anyone used Grupo Gama for decorations, dance floor, or lighting? The prices seem pretty fair and setup/travel fee is only $250. I just want to know how their service and products are before booking! Still waiting to hear back about Zuniga about their prices for 2014. Hope the planning is going well for everyone!

Thanks for the idea ladies! I will have to look into ordering a pair for everyone. Hi All! Have any former brides had luck shipping boxes to the resort prior to your arrival? I am worried about all of the favors, decorations, and OOT bags on top of our own luggage making it on the plane. For 2014 brides-- do you all have a plan for getting all of your goodies down there? I have a room right now dedicated to my wedding organization and the pile needing to travel with me seems to be getting quite large! I do plan on having each of my immediate family members and bridal party carry on items that are fragile!

Hi ladies! Anyone giving wedding favors besides their OOT bags? I have been busy ordering parts for my formal invitations and I cant wait to see them come together. I am trying to save pennies where I can and do some projects myself. I have plenty of time... hopefully!

Hi Kelly! I am an October 2014 bride! We will be there October 8th- 15th! We are just beginning the process. We have had a really helpful WC so far who has been quick to respond! Let hope it continues to be this smooth! Happy planning! -J
