the knot was really helpful! they have a checklist of things to do in the months before! I find them to be very good except for the fact that since we are doing destination there are a lot of things that aren't applicable.

I would do a Save The Date instead of an invitation that early! I am going to send out my invitations of my 6.18.14 wedding in February. I sent out save the dates in October and most of the reserved trips with the travel agent were taken by early December! We have around 80 people booked!

Kacie woke up to a note and a bouquet of flowers sitting on the island in their kitchen. The note read "Kacie, Good Morning Sweetheart! As you can see I did get that switch to the day light shift. Please do not make any plans for this afternoon! All I can tell you is to sit back, relax, and wait for further instructions. Love Always, Christopher" Then Kacie received a phone call from Christopher around 2 P.M. and he told her to go downstairs and look in the laundry room cabinet. Another note was placed there with a rose. The note read "Kacie, Hope you had a relaxing morning. This note is to inform you that you should pack an overnight bag with clothes and toiletries for the Pittsburgh area. Once again, after you have that finished sit back, relax, and wait for further instructions. Love Always, Christopher" Kacie thought that, that was the last note and he was going to meet her at home and take her out to Pittsburgh for the night but that wasn't the case. Christopher then called again shortly after 5 P.M. to tell Kacie to go out to the shed and look down to your left. Here she found yet another note! The note read "Kacie, This is the final note for the day. By now you should be all packed up, relaxed, and ready for the Burgh. Now comes the test! Come find me. Do not cheat and use your phone! You should know this; meet me where we first met, leave now! Hurry, Hurry, Hurry! Time is of the essence! Love Always, Christopher" Kacie then drove to Yough Bowling Lanes where Christopher got down on one knee and proposed. She said 'Yes!' and now they are planning a destination wedding!

@@nursemorgan Picking a location and date at this time is going to be very challenging, good luck! I booked my date a year in advance and the dates were completely filled up in a month! You might need to be flexible with the time of the ceremony! That will definitely help you find availability on your date!

A little piece of advice is to pack your luggages as half of your stuff in each and half of his stuff in each luggage because if one of your bags do get misplaced you will be okay for a couple of days and usually you receive your luggage in a couple of days anyways! BE SURE to match jewelry to outfits and shoes, etc. this way you will have some of each of your belongings!

Yes I just ordered them today and the cups were $5.50 each but I got the 16 oz double wall tumbers personalized with two colors! I did a palm tree in the background in our wedding color and our names and date overlapping it! I love it! Can't wait to see the finished product! @@amarie4713 where are you getting married at and when? We are getting married at Now Jade on June 18th of this year! We actually visited the resort in November 2013 and we loved it, it released a lot of the stress I had! So grateful we could do that!

Make sure to register for practical items, like sheets, towels, maybe some new kitchen utensils or serve ware that you don't have! I agree with keeping the costs per item relatively low when you are having a destination wedding because they are already paying a lot in the first place!
