I know! I preach this constantly. We haven't booked a photographer, my FI hasn't really decided how much we spend on one yet so I'm just sort of waiting. I love Sacsha Gulick, he is one that I'm considering as well. My fear is that as soon as I get the go ahead from my FI everyone I want will be taken! I have several that I really like that are all very similar in price range-so we'll see. We are having a video done of our wedding and we'll have a slideshow of photographs that can be shown also. I still can't decide on my dress-or feels weird to wear it again-and definitely not doing anything similar a ceremony. I don't think we'll even do our first dance or anything-I debated about it, but I don't want to mess with it and it won't be special the second time around. Yeah that is my plan also, I still have until November and I figure the less crazy bride I am the more she'll be willing to negotiate! I've been keepin a list of things I want to know that no one else has been able to answer for me.

I know this was asked not to long ago, but have any recent brides had any luck switching things out of their package for something else? I know it was pretty common place a couple years ago, but I haven't heard of recent brides having much luck. I haven't talked to Pilar, but I know there will be things we will not need from our wedding package, and that has be considering going with the Eternity package instead of the Divine. Also, something else I was thinking about, we are only going to do a symbolic ceremony, but I don't want anyone to know that. Will they make it all look legal if I ask, signature of the marriage license and everything? Does anyone have any experience with this?

At my resort they do not, I just have to let her know so they don't worry about having someone there do it. That's in Mexico.

I originally intended to not do formal invites, but as the planning progresses the AHR seems to be taking on a life of its own! so i believe i'll need some sort of RSVP system for the food at least. originally i was thinking just like a come and go type thing...but i'm not sure that is going to happen!

@ yeah, at the time, right after they switched to the new platform for the website-i could even see the attachments, not just open them, but the links weren't even showing up for me. it's fixed now though!
