Hey congratulations @smithandsweet!! Yeah, i'm still not sure about this new website design…it has taken me a little bit to get used to it.

I really like that color! That will be pretty. I can't believe she got back to you so quickly! That seems almost unheard of when you're dealing with a destination wedding

I would like to do one, but like some of the other girls i'm wearing mine for the AHR, so if i do, i'll probably get a different dress…more flowy. I have to sell my FI on the whole idea though.

Yay! Congratulations! Im a NOW Jade bride also, November 2014. I'm very excited and just sent out my STDs today I can't wait until I get into the heart of the planning. We also have about 25 guests, and possibly some children (our daughter for sure). I'm still feeling around for exactly the idea i'm going for with the wedding. I know what colors i want to use, and i know i don't want to be really "beachy" what are you doing?

You did such a great job on all your DIY things!! I have a year before our date and I plan to do a lot of the work myself also. I'm still trying to "see" it though…I can't decide what theme or feeling i'm going for….i'm sure it will come to me.

Haha! I love it "WE WIN!" That's how I feel. You're going to have those few who will complain no matter what, but in the end, it's your wedding those people who care about it will be there.

These are adorable!! I've been considering doing something like that for my guests! As soon as i get a more for sure timeline I'll probably design one! So far I have printed EVERYTHING on vistaprint.com.

Yeah. my original plan was pink and orange and have since changed it. But I think it looks really really good on a tropical setting. With those pinks for your bridal party you could even go with a champagne or more nude color if you wanted, or a more pale pink? That would look pretty also.

There is just so much stuff i want to look at! i CAN'T WAIT!!

@@AdamShannon that is good to know. I think we're going to bring down our own chair sashes, possible a few table runners and minimal decoration. We'll also be flying with our 18 month old though, so depending on how full luggage starts to get we might have to readjust! We'll only have 25 at the most and I'm just concerned it will look empty if we don't do something a little extra. I go back and forth. I haven't been in touch with anyone from the resort though so I'm not 100% sure what the rooms look like or their sizes.

I fell in love with now jade instantly. Before I talked to my wedding consultant I just assumed it was out if our price range. But it wasn't I booked it as soon as we could agree on a date with the resort! Warning! They book fast and far out because they only do 2 weddings a day. So if you have your heart set on a date I would check on it. We were really open on our date though so it worked out. We did end up pushing out an extra 6 months though because we wanted a Friday
