It comes faster than expected. it seems like the forums sort of come and go in spurts-some days there will a lot of activity and then other days, there is almost nothing on anything. I've been on the website for a few months now and am still only to about 100 I have not been super active that whole time though. I need to get back in the game.

Your wedding sounds like mine and I had the same concerns About the bamboo room being too large. I know in some previous posts, there was a bride who only had 30, and she said it seemed fine to her, but I'm still concerned about it looking really empty in there. @Megan Cornwell Did you book the DJ and everything? I also know that somewhere in the beginning there are diagrams of the rooms with dimensions, not that it helps since we don't have over 150 posts yet Who is everyone using to book their excursions through? I think it would be fun to do at least one together, especially since we have a small group. I've been struggling with ideas though because we'll have my daughter, and she'll only be 18 months at that time.

Oh! yes, I've heard of that resort. We were originally considering Jamaica and then switched to Mexico after more serious discussions. When we first started it was just all in fun talking about the wedding, it seemed so surreal until we realized, or perhaps accepted, that we were really going to get to pick one of these beautiful places to get married. Have you tried asking on a specific jamaica thread? @@loquaciouspunky Also, if you just click the quote button it will quote exactly what i said and you can just type under it.

I thought about having a tutu dress made. They have some really great ones and they're too formal or hot for a little girl? What do you guys think of that?

I am lucky because my hairdresser is going to do mine for me for very cheap! I can't wait I love them. And i don't want smudgy mascara and stuff in the water and heat!

When you're not ready you're not ready. A wedding is an expense like anything else. Do it on your own time. My FI and I have been together 9 years and have an 8 month old and still aren't married! Until next year

These are the colors of my daughters nursery. SO naturally i love them!

We are November 21. And we have already booked a photographer and have been talking about a DJ, never too early. But I heard the same that 2-3 months in advanc for hair, however, if you're going to have that many people you might want to check a little earlier, because who knows if they'll be booked up and since you need multiple openings instead if just yours As long as they carry blue curaco you can really have anything made blue.

Good Luck and I'm sure it will be great! I just can't understand how some reviews can be 1 star and some can be 5 star when it sounds like they stayed at completely different resorts. Yeah. I agree, i'm going to try and think of something, we might make them a little more personalized since we are only having a small amount of people. Are you doing traditional wedding favors as well as welcome bags and thank you gifts? I still haven't really found a quick way to keep access to the forums I use alot. Have you? Or do you have to go through all the links everytime?

I think will give them a little something, but we're having a pretty small wedding. 25ppl, I haven't really thought about what to get though. I mean, we're already doing welcome bags.

Whoa! that is why we invited only our immediate family and close friends, because my parents also have a ton of siblings!

I know they have other menu options, even for a plated meal. Because you can vegetarion options and stuff. So that might be something to check into?

Definately, it seems like once you get past the 25 people it becomes very expensive, very quickly. We were already planning a small gathering, even before booking here and looking at the packages, and even if EVERYONE we invited come, we'll only be over the children, we have 25 adults exactly invited. SO we just got really lucky I agree that it is nice they can all make it though. It will be a memorable time!

Is anyone having problems with attachments not showing up in the forums? I know before the platform up date there were a few I wanted to look at, but now, when I go to the posts. they aren't there? there is just a space where the link used to be? Is this just me or is this something that happened with the changeover?

More specifically the documents that @ironman posted. They just aren't showing up for me.

How many people were you expecting? 70 seems like so many! haha I agree. the new site is weird, it has taken some getting used to. Is anyone else having problems with links not showing up in the forum? LInks to PDFs and stuff?
