    No problem lol...I'm sorry I can't help with the name of photographers as I have not been down that road yet lol It's stressful thinking about it I don't know if I'm going to use the resort one either. But it seems that a outside vendor may need a date that's the only disadvantage with going with someone outside let me know what you come up with and where are you getting married?

    To all the brides getting married here... You will LOVE LOVE it lol.. I have been to this resort for a wedding a couple years back and it's absolutely breath taking... This resort made me want to have a destination wedding myself when I get married (may 2015) good luck to all and congrats!!!

    Congrats... Maybe if you know your travel dates you will be at the resort you and contact a photographer and let them know your situation I'm sure your not the first bride where it's a package that is offered they must do it often. So let them know the dates you will be at the resort and how much time they would need. So once you get there if you decide on getting married in a Wednesday contact the photographer on Tuesday for your Wednesday wedding... Hope everything turns out perfect and I'm sure it will!!!!     I'm going to go with long or knee length as I'm not going to get married on the beach but the gazebo so i think we will be ok for the short but it's totally up to you. Lol your the bride it's your day so whatever you want go for it lol good luck

    I haven't decided I'm still going back and forth trying to decide on a place in Jamaica I like the Iberostar chain...what bout you?

    From what I have been reading its 8-12 months for the STD and 4-6 months for the invitation it self.

    I am between sending save the dates and invitations or just invitations? Please help... Having a destination wedding and seem to think save the dates are a waste of money if I can send the invitation out a year in advance? Please brides or further brides please let me know what you think and what you are doing?

    Congrats ladies... I am getting married may 2015 and also very new to this whole thing. Just looking for ideas on different stuff mainly right now I'm looking for templates for invitations having a hard time where I'm new and don't have 150 posts lol so anything helps!!! Thanks

    Ok I'm trying to save as much money possible... Is it necessary to send out save the dates for a destination wedding? I'm getting married may 2015 I was going to send out save the dates in may 2014 followed by a invitation in the fall of 2014 I was just thinking maybe I could send the invitations out may 2014 and no save the dates? Has any brides done this? I just know that half the people that get the save the dates won't come so would I be safe with just giving the invitations out a year in advance or is the save the dates necessary? Thanks everyone

    Hello Brides, Future Brides to be looking for any feeding back at all with regards to how you finally settled on a resort and what the benefits to the resorts were. Having a really hard time with this and trying to keep at a decent price for our guest...please help lol

    Hello, We are getting married in Dom. Rep in 2015 (May) also and we are leaning more towards Melia Caribe Tropical for the resort. Notihng set in stone yet, please leave me with any ideas you have so far.
