    I have two months or less to plan. Palace, Karisma, or...properties? I need a children friendly place. Anyone have any bad experiences with these hotel chains? (PS - In Cancun/Riviera Maya area)?

    Once I create a room block, do my guests have to reserve/book through the TA for the rooms/guest night benefits to count for me? Or can they book elsewhere and reference the group rate? In your experience have your guests found cheaper rates than the group rates? If so, was your TA able to match/beat the lower rate? Did it count towards your freebie wedding benefits? Thanks!

    I'm in the same boat now trying to choose a venue, but I only have two months or less to plan! Al seems so practical. Glad to see you made your choice. We're looking at Cancun/Riviera Maya.

    Anyone have an idea for how much it would be for a wedding on the Chapel (St Francis) and reception in La Isla for about 80 people? Just asking for a rough estimate. Some live music, nice decorations and plenty of food and drinks. Thank you so much!!!

    Thank you so much! Did your guests end up paying more for,the block group rates for the hotel than of they would have done a flight+hotel package elsewhere?

    Hi fellow brides, I'm so jealous of all of you who have at least six months to plan. Due to family health issues, I need to speed this up. We've decided to get married in Mexico in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area. Aside from our families, we have no idea how many will travel given the short notice. So anywhere from 30 to 130! Wish me luck!! How did you arrive at your decision for your venue?
