Girls, Who is your wedding planner (not onsite wedding coordinator)? I have one person who did the membership group booking. And, then I will be passed on to a planner (not onsite). Now would be the time for me to ask for a specific person if I had a preference. Do you recommend anyone? Thanks

Quickly off my list, too. So gorgeous. I've seen the picture slide shows and the (underground?) chapel, and the entrance to 'La Isla' an "La Isla' itself, look so amazing. It really feels like Mexico. I decided to do the Al thing instead...with plenty of money left over and lots of resort credits my guests can use for an excursion there. I know...not the same thing. But, a little consolation never hurts.

Looks like it will be Moon Palace. I definitely wanted to use a BDW travel agent, but I booked through our friends' membership and wouldn't get their status level and other benefits unless we created and all book through their membership dept. Since it's so last minute, I don't even get a room block. I hope it all works out. So many things were sold out (for members -not for the general pubic - even though members are not supposed to have any blackout dates - sucks), that I hope when my guests call to book, they actually get rooms!!! He told me there would be ...but "no guarantees". Now off to the last minute planning. What destination wedding website have you ladies used? Anyone at MP have a good offsite wedding planner (before passing on to the onsite wedding coordinator)? Thanks!

Hi fellow brides, Congratulations to all of you! I JUST booked my wedding for NOV 16/17, 2013 (<--- yes, this year!!!!) at Moon Palace in Riviera Maya/Cancun. I'm full of excitement and of course stress!!!! We have to do a totally last-minute wedding due to family illness and I've taken the plunge. Friends of ours are memebers of the Palace and Hard Rock resorts, so we booked our group through them. Anyway - I need to set up a destination wedding website ASAP. Any recommendations? I'm going shopping for a dress tomorrow (rush delivery please!). What else do I need todo right away? Any tips advice you can offer are much appreciated. Let's see of I can pull this off! Thank you so much Allie. I'm having a hard time because I'm so close in that hotels won't do group bookings at anything else than rack rates. Crazy!! And without the group booking code/number it seems I won't get my group promotions (free rooms, 'unlimited' private events, etc...). Has anyone else had experice with such las ,impute planning?

Thanks. Any idea on the if I still get wedding perks (count towards my group room nights) if my guests choose to book through someone other than a (my) chosen TA? Only because of cheaper prices of course.
