  1. My two cents is that even with a divided ballroom (you know how they close 'sliding doors' that partition it out), it wouldn't look so great. You always have to spend more on decoration indoors than outdoors. So that's a point to consider. I, myself, am planning on having an indoor reception, but with a larger guest count. If I had yours, I'd do it outdoors. Either way, it will be beautiful! Good luck

  9. Girls - I'm so sad and almost ready to quit on Moon Palace. ( Trying to sort out the Wedding Ceremony Contract with them has been a nightmare. Instead is removing a clause about an extra fee per hotel guest not booked through the group booking, they add this: Any other item not mentioned in this agreement is not part or included in the package, extra charges would apply. Did you girls have to go through all this?

  19. Britt and Shannon - So did all your guests book through the same TA? - Britt - Are the exceptions for the vendors (photographer, florist) listed on your wedding contract? Julie - Yes, I'm getting married in the chapel and got to see it. I'm also doing an indoor reception and saw the two ballrooms I want. Cocktail is still up in the air. Everyone is so nice. Those of you that have menus, etc... Can you email them to me please? [email protected] I'm editing/negotiating the contract now and want to close any loopholes through which they can unexpectedly charge me for things. PS - The first draft they sent me sais they can change the Date, time and location of the wedding anytime. ?!!!! YIKES!! Was this on everyone's contract? Hugs girls
  20. MTM - For early June, which time Is better for a ceremony 5 pm or 6 pm, with optimal light or pictures in mind. I want to balance having light with trying to avoid as much heat as possible. Ceremony will be about 30 mins. Cocktail might be outside, reception indoors. Thank you!
