I matched the belt clip with the wrist coil (yellow with yellow, green with green, etc.) as you'll see on the pic. As I stated in the first post, we are using lanyards, belt clips and wristcoils so guests will have their choice of which they want to use. Obviously, they will remove the two they decide not to use or can swap depending on their mood. Hope this helps! Thanks for sharing! Very cute and affordable!
  2. I am actually having my wedding at Playacar Palace in June and I was quoted $195/person/night for Resort View room. That is without hotel transfer to/from the airport or airfare. I went with a travel agent - Teresa at vacations4less. You might get a better quote using a TA?

I will also be putting votive candles around these vases and some white seashells/starfish to make them beachy. I am putting one vase of each size on the tables surrounded by 5 or so votives. On the head table I will have 1 large vase and 2 small vases (head table made up of 3 long tables, a set of vases on each of the long tables) with votives surrounding them. Cost = 7 large vase = $14 10 medium vase = $10 7-8 orchid stems = $32 17 floating candles = $17 36 votives (from Michaels) = $15 seashells = $5-10 GRAND TOTAL = $98 (high estimate) That is less than $100 for 4 round tables and the head table!!! Lovely! Thanks for sharing!

  10. A lot of people in our bridal partyare on a pretty tight budget. I was thinking about "donating"to their total resort bill. How much of a gift is typical?
  11. I'm going with the Boudoir book and my FI is really into sports memorabilia. I'll have to find something super special when he isn't around

I had the same issues are you, shipping to Canada sucks. Luckily I live close to the border, and in lots of border towns there are places that Canadians can ship their goods to (for me in Winnipeg, I use http://www.mikesparcelpickup.com/). Basically you can take advantage of the free shipping, and ship it to this place, then you pay $5 a parcel for them to hold it for you. So last weekend I planned a trip to Grand Forks with a few friends, and stopped in on my way past the border. It's wonderful! Thanks for the tip for ordering off Amazon!
