    It might also depend on the country/religion. I know in portugal his name goes first...but ultimately it's what you want really!

    Ok, so I just ordered my 'Will you be my...' gifts! As i mention, I am having 1 godmother and 1 godfather as my 'party', in line with Portuguese tradition. So, for my sister (and future godmother) i bought her an infinity bracelet, so pretty! I hope she likes it! And for the godfather, a very good friend of mine, I made him a t-shirt with a word search at the front and the words: Will you be my godfather are hidden on the word search! I will post pictures soon!

    Thank you for the list! I want to get a check list to give our photographer to make sure all the essential photos are taken during the day! You only get to do it once!

    I love the idea buut don't think we will be doing it, as it will add a big extra cost to the wedding. I'm still recuperating from the shock of how expensive photographers are!!

    I think the candles are a good idea. It's hard to do something like that without creating a bad feel around your guests, specially the ones that knew the person too. I am thinking of doing something similar with candles for a few people that won't be able to be present on our special day: grandparents and a close friend that we lost this year... Good luck

    Im having the same problem, but with people from work!! I've only been there for 3 months and they are all asking me if they are invited and how nice it will be to have a 'company' trip to my wedding...i dont know what to say but they are not invited basically.... Any help? I usually smile and change conversations... Arghhh
