    We ended up using discountmugs.com, they turned out fantastic, and the price was great, until I had to pay the shipping and duties to bring it in to canada! We ordered 125 for about $300 and then the shipping and duties cost me $280. It was a big gulp to swallow but they are so awesome!

    For anyone who had a exception in the bamboo room, what sizes and how many paper lanterns did you get?? Just trying to order them but I am not sure how what to choose!!

    We both come from large families and invited about 140 people. So far we have over 60 booked and are thinking we will be close to 80. We are incredibly blessed and happy that so many can attend....but our wallets are definitely feeling the pinch! We have had to decide to not do OOT bags and other extras as the cost and packing would just be way to much and the added costs of have over 25 people is crazy!! Our cheapo DW has turned out to be more than we originally thought!! But we still can't wait for our big day and to celebrate with so many people who love us that much!

    108 more days til I marry my best friend!! Getting so excited! Feeling like I have most things done now too! Rings, clothing, favours all done! Need to get a bustle put in my dress, and find jewelry and shoes still. I have a few things I want to make and I still need to sort out table decor. What's everyone else doing for their tables? I would love flowers, but with at least ten tables I don't want to pay for it!! I'm thinking tea lights and candles over the burlap and lace table runners I bought.

    We just received our order. I am super happy with the clothing! Seems to be great quality and fits according to the measurement guide. Our biggest issue was UPS, such a joke of a delivery service! We paid for overnight shipping and it took 9 days to receive the package. I contacted Island Importers for a shipping refund and they did it immediately and basically no questions asked. I literally called 10 minutes ago and I have already received their refund invoice via email.

    We originally thought that a budget of about $10,000 would be good, FI's parents decided to pay for our trip so that helps out so so much! We were pretty shocked about it in the beginning! But looking at it now, we will have at least 80 people attending so that alone at least doubles the cost of the reception. We still know that the DW will be much more reasonable than having a wedding at home tough! In the end, I think we will be closer to $15,000 with all costs in.

    Does anyone have a picture of their reception table set up?? I just am curious to see what they set up for plates, utensils, and glassware. I am trying to decide on centre pieces....

    We ended up choosing mason jar mugs with lids and a straw. They turned out fantastic and we can't wait to hand htm out at our wedding! Now our biggest issue will be getting them to Mexico, they take up a lot of room!

    We thought about giving people an option, but then I have to sort out how to differentiate who gets what meal, so I am pretty sure we decided to go with a surf and turf option with beef tenderloin and shrimp and scallops(I think!). I don't eat seafood but I know most others will enjoy it! The few people I know who are vegetarian or have other issues will hopefully let me know when they RSVP so I can accommodate their needs.

    I have a question...my uncle is a pastor and is going to be marrying us here before we leave and then doing a symbolic ceremony in Mexico, which we will consider our wedding day. I am not sure if we should give him cash, or a gift or what? Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Thanks!

    I just bought chair bows off of ebay. I got them for a great price. I think they are all pretty much the same size so I wouldn't worry too much about that! For the people tipping, I was just looking into it, I don't think that tipping the wait staff is necessary since they already charge a 15% service fee for every meal. I guess if you only have the number of people included in your package a tip would be appreciated. Thoughts?

    I have worn the heel covers before. But I wore them at a wedding where we had to walk through grass, they worked really well, but I don't think they would really work in the sand, you would still sink into it!

    I am starting my get fit plan today!! I am 160lbs, have been this same weight for years, but I would like to lose 10-15 lbs and just not feel so soft! Hopefully I can achieve my goals in the next 4 months!

    I think we are going to get a DJ. Although I would live to save the added cost, I don't want to have to deal with an iPod and someone to control it. As of right now, we have 65 adults and 9 kids booked so with the big numbers, I think we need to spend the extra for the DJ.

    I haven't had my wedding yet, but I will probably just skip the bouquet toss or use the one they give. I can't take it home with me as you can't bring any flowers back over the border so I may as well have some fun with it!

    I really really want to do this as well. I don't mind when people take pictures with actual cameras from their seat, but I really hate seeing iPads and people who get up and move to get that 'perfect' shot. Not sure if I can just ask people to stay seated and only take pics with cameras though so I'm not sure what to do!

    Our TA sent out an email in September 2013 for out October 2014 wedding, we then sent out a STD in late December/early January. And I just got our invitations. I will be sending them out hopefully in the next week. I really like the formality of the invitations so I still wanted to do them although I'm sure they weren't necessary! I am actually quite surprised how many people keep contacting me to ask when, where, etc...
