    I can totally understand where you are coming from! We have had many conversations about how much the wedding will cost. In the end, that seems to be the only part that he cares about! I have been questioned many times about why are we spending so much, the. I bring him back to reality about having 75 people at a destination wedding!! And how much it would cost us to throw a wedding here! Then he is quiet! Lol Mostly he wants to know the exact total of what it will be....his goal is to have it completely paid off before we leave. Then his stress level will go down!

    We are bringing plastic mason jar cups with lids and straws. And we have 75 guests! I am starting to think I better figure out how we pack everything, I had thought about giving them to those that live here before we go but I don't want them to forget them here so we will take them all there. My sister had a DW and everyone used the cups at the resort, they were awesome! And it really made the wedding group stand out!

    I found some really cute wedges that I am going to wear. I feel like my whole posture changes when I have some sort of heel on and it looks more flattering than no shoes or flats. Hopefully I don't fall!

    Thanks! I ordered it from DHGate, the seller is idobridal. The order date was August 4 and I received it today, so three weeks!! I also got a veil with it. The total cost for the dress was $219 and the veil was $40. I am very happy with it!! I did ask for pictures before they sent it, and I never got any, but she did send pictures of the lace they used before they made it. The response time was usually within 12 hours of me sending a message. Here is a pic of the original and then of mine...you can see they are different for sure. But I am still happy

    Okay ladies, got it on, and it fits perfectly! Maybe needs a little tweaking around the bust...but nothing really! I will attach a few pictures of it, don't mind my lovely hair do!!

    Lol, so somehow I got the email at 2:55am that my dress and veil had shipped, and they just arrived at 1:45pm!! Of course they did since Brad is home!! Looks pretty good, I can't get into it by myself so have to wait for some help! The dress is definitely not the like the picture I ordered, but it is very pretty still! The only thing is I bought it because it was a line and this one is for sure more fitting in the hips and thighs!! Oh, and it smells a lil funky but nothing a little airing out can't fix! I will post some pics once I get my butt into it properly!

    Just got an email today that my dress and veil have been shipped! Yay! This dress is a surprise purchase that FI doesn't know about so I am sure hoping it doesn't come today since he decided to play hooky with work and stay home with me! Lol

    We have made the choice to have a symbolic ceremony in Mexico and then sign the legal papers when we get home. It was just a matter of personal preference for us really as we want our DW to be the day we consider our wedding day. Also, we will probably just do it with a couple friends as our witnesses or we would have to make a big deal of the whole thing.

    I just stopped in at michaels yesterday and picked up travel water bottles for all the kids coming. The have them in a bunch of colours and best thing is that they are 80% off!! I got them for $0.62 each!

    I bought a cake cutting set off of amazon....I paid $5 for it including shipping so I figured I could handle that in the budget!! And it's a pretty David Tutera set!

    All I have for cocktail hour are paper striped straws. I think we will choose a signature drink while we are there!

    I also just booked DJ disco movil! So happy he is way more reasonable than the resort!! We are leaving in 60 days! Whoa! I put some of our stuff into a suitcase...and then I stopped! Lol once I get the final few things done I will pack it all and be done that part! Our wedding sheets have to be done and sent in soon, only 20 days! That seems to be the harder part right now!

    I say just ignore the comments!! We have 75 people coming and 12 of those are kids. They range from 5 months to 5 years. My sisters have taken their kids on multiple trips to Mexico and have never had issues. I think that in general the resorts are very safe for families. It is your day, just be strong and enjoy it!!

    Lol, well, my hope is that we can bring 4, my guess is we will have to have at least one more though!! We also are bringing plastic travel mason jars...and have 75 people coming so they will probs need one of their own at least!!

    We will be taking four suitcases between the two of us...it is only $20 for a second bag with WestJet. Then, if we need another I will get a friend and her bf to bring them as they are in our flight. Right now I have everything sitting in my basement in a pile...I keep meaning to figure out how much there is...but I don't have the courage quite yet! Lol

    I would say $100 for the minister and $100 for the coordinator and I wouldn't tip the servers since it is already included in the cost. They charge a 16% gratuity on top of everything Hello everyone! So things are coming up quickly and we are leaving in 65 days! I am trying to get the music for the ceremony. What have others chosen for their music? Add how long are the songs? I'm also trying to sort out the reception timeline...anyone have any tips or what your timelines looked like?? Thanks!!!

    The problem is that if they didn't book with my TA (which I am totally fine with!) then I am not really certain if they did book or not!! I just need their RSVP back and I will know for sure! Some people who I assumed would book haven't and those I thought wouldn't come have booked! Who knows?! I do have a soft number of who's coming....but the number is pretty vague, like we are somewhere between 60-85 people. It's a pretty big difference when I am trying to guess table decor and paying for dinners! Hopefully they start rolling in tomorow!!!

    Our booking date with the travel agent was last November to out down the deposits...but final payment is due August 19. We have had a couple people drop out after putting down their deposits. And then a whole lot of people have booked on their own so i am stuck waiting for their actual RSVP!

    I hate to say this, but RSVPs are killing me right now! I have always been horrible with them in the past for other weddings...now I totally get! I will get my RSVPs in the future sent back ASAP!! We are still waiting for 54 of them...and the deadline is Friday! I really want to get some things done and numbers finalized so I can calculate the numbers!!!
