    I think we are also going to hire an outside photographer. I just want to have awesome photos so I am willing to pay a bit more for them! Also, the outside vendor fee at the now Jade is $65. Etsy is amazing!! For most everything! Just check the sellers reviews to make sure. I actually made my Save the Dates using An Etsys eller who designed the postcard and then sent me to JPEG which I had printed on thick cardstock that I bought and had printed at a UPS store since the paper was so thick it wouldn't fit in my printer. Total cost for 120 postcards was about $50.

    Just placed my order with Dressilyme for my wedding dress! Yay! I was going to do it last week, but had asked a few questions and because of Chinese New Years, it took a few days for them to reply, and then my dress was full price instead of being 50% off! So I felt a little discouraged trying to find something else I liked, and then just yesterday I came across it, and it is on sale again! So I am not wasting time and placed my order! I will let you all know how it works out! Fingers crossed!!

    Where is everyone in planning?? I'm not sure what I should have done at this point! We sent out our STDs at the beginning of January, already have over 50 people booked! I bought khakis and white shirts for my three ring bearers at Old Navy yesterday as they were on sale! I'm going to order suspenders and bow ties off Etsy to finish their outfits. I have chosen the flower girl dress, just have to order it off Etsy as well. I tried on dresses here, but I have decided to order a custom dress from Dressilyme...seems crazy but the cost savings is amazing! What else do I need to do?!

    I am 99% sure I am going to order my dress from Dressilyme. All of these reviews have been super helpful! It is very similar to a dress I have tried on but I love that it is sweetheart. I feel like if I get it and hate it I still have time to find a different dress, hopefully that won't happen though!     My fiancé and I are also on the fence. He is from Ontario where stag and does are common, and I had never even heard of one before! His family has suggested it since we don't live in Ontario and I haven't even met a lot of his family and they most likely won't be attending the wedding. They thought it would be a good way to meet and let them feel like they are a part if the festivities. Since I haven't met so many people I would rather something that is co ed so we can both attend and visit with family and friends...thoughts anyone??

    I am also interested in having a buffet instead of a plated dinner. I feel like I saw it somewhere but now I cannot find it for the life of me! I am pretty sure with such a large group you cannot reserve part of the restaurant, you have to have a private event. I'm with you on the costs exploding! We will also have 80-100 people. With this many people I think that the DJ is a must have, and I would like to extend the reception 1-2 hours.... As much as I want an awesome photographer, i may have to cut that in order to have a better reception. Not sure yet on anything!

    Yay! That was our original date but we ended up moving it to October 23 so my uncle who is a minister can marry us! When will you be there? We are there October 18 to November 1. We are also going to have a large group at least 75, maybe up to 100 and the costs are soaring! Any ideas to keep the costs down are more than welcome! I really want a photographer but I am having a hard time setting a budget with all the people joining us!

    This thread has a ton of useful info! I am wondering what this deal is regarding rooms booked and credits.....about having 5 rooms booked and you get one free? Is this true? Is it through the travel agent or the hotel? We are booked at the Now Jade for October 23, 2014 and will have 80-100 people attending! While we are completely ecstatic and happy that so many can join us, it is really pushing the budget!
