  1. That is a nice idea. We plan to have a frame for each guest with their picture in it... So instead of table numbers, people will just find their picture :-) We also might add in some luggage tags too

Very tasty and nothing too weird for picky guests. We had the 3 milks cake. Other brides on this site recommended it and it was delicious! All in all we paid $4800 CAN for 53 guests. The package was Unforgettable at $1620. That included the ceremony, extra bottles of Moët (which went over large! Excellent choice), and a full bar reception. No extra fliers or decorations from the resort. We provides seashells for the dinner table decoration and they looked great but next time is probably save my money there. We also provided 20 disposable cameras at dinner for our guests, gave everyone a 20oz Bubba keg, and handed out glow-in-the-dark necklaces, brackets and aviators at the reception. The photos are AMAZING with everyone lit up. Photography was $3100 additional - which is know is ridiculous. However, I'd rather pay more than organize a photographer in Canada coming down with us. It was more than the original package but I chose to buy ALL the photos the photographer took and unknown I was swindled but don't care. I used the resort photographer. I had Martin who was great, and helped contribute to the party. Just to be clear: Unforgettable package $1620 Reception: $2680 Extra champagne: $225 Photography: $3100 I'd post pics but I'm having internet problems right now. I can only use my phone. When I get it fixed, hopefully ASAP, I'll post. My ceremony is at 3 pm - I wanted a later time, but they said no other options were available. We plan to do a cocktail hour from 5 to 6 with guitar trio, and dinner from 6 to 8... then poolside from 8 to 10:30... Do you think 3pm is an ok time? :-/ Also, do you recommend DJ or Ipod for reception?

We also talked to some other guests who reported that had to get ready for the ceremony, then change back into their swimsuit or whatever, then later get ready all over again for the rest of the wedding. Plus, it leaves more time for people to get TOO drunk. My ceremony is at 3 pm - I wanted a later time, but they said no other options were available. I was also going to pay more for silk but decided not to.... I want to find a dress I love but that is also lightweight so I wont be sweating too much? I am going to go with something like this now I think: http://watters.com/Product/WtooBrides/10311/

I think that you should pick a dress that you love no matter what the material is!! I love the back!!! Such a pretty dress. I think I'm going to try to get my dress made in the style I posted in a silk fabric.

  9. Your dress is lovely! When is your wedding? What are you having the groom and groomsmen wear?... We want to pay for bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen outfits, so I was just thinking for the guys having them provide their own black dress pants and white dress shirts, and we would purchase a gray vest and colored tie... I wonder if the black dress pants would be too hot??
  10. Below are the actual photos of the dress I want... Sorry about the red scribbles - those are the changes I want to make if I order it! Fabric- satin Wedding - August 4, 2014
  11. This isn't the exact dress I want - but a similar style .. Mermaid, soft satin - sort of a vintage feel. But I keep reading that satin will be too hot?
  12. Wedding dresses: What type of style and fabric is everyone going with? I found a simple mermaid style soft satin dress I love, but I don't know if it will be too hot?? My bridesmaids are wearing a short chiffon dress. My wedding is August 4! - so I know it will be super hot!!!

I had my mom do the paperwork for her passport. I was a little nervous about it, but she is OK with it and everyone knows to keep an eye on her. Notify the airlines for assistance so she can have someone take her through secruity and to the gate, they will also pick her up on the other side and deliver her to the car. My grandma is now so excited that she went to get hearing aids after us begging for almost 10 years as she wants to be able to enjoy everyone while there and hear the ceremony. This worked out great for my family as we go that extra bonus. Good Luck My grandma says she cant travel.... she is 85. She lives alone, but has been in and out of the hospital on and off for heart issues... We booked our trip but I am getting anxiety if she doesnt decide to come.

Kyle's grandmother is 75 and she is also coming my other grandmother has become ill so she unable to make it now but unless there is a big health concern I do not see why the trip cant be made. Yes they offer white sashes at ceremony for free - and colored ones you can rent. I am keeping all chairs plain, but buying 6 orange sashes for 6 seats as "reserved" in the front.... one for my dad, step mom, ring bearer, fiances mom and dad, and leaving an open chair for my mom who passed away 9 years ago... and then having each bridesmaid and myself leave an empty flower on the seat for my mom. From Jazmin: The sashes for the chairs included are white, but If wish to have another colors is possible, the cost is 4usd each (minimun 30 + 45usd per transfer & set up)
