I saw the pics... thanks for sharing... your dress was GORGEOUS! I am doing the legal ceremony, but we are having my sister and fiances friend do a short reading after our vows. I am really looking forward to it.... its less about 5 weeks away!! Is there a gym on the Tulum resort? Did you have a cd or guitar trio play music for you when you walked down the aisle? Do we have to have our wedding party (bridesmaid and groomsmen) stand by us during the ceremony? I was hoping to have them sit throughout it. Did you have to request the two tier cake? Did it cost you extra? I made programs for the ceremony. Do you think that These could be taped to the chairs for the ceremony for guests? I also brought candles for the ceremony.... will these be set up if I bring them?

I didn't know we could rent out the whole resturant... it sounds like you had a nice wedding and im happy for you I'm getting married on August 4, and we will have 33 guests total. Do you have any pictures from your wedding you can share? I am also getting married at the Gazebo. Can I bring a CD of songs for the DJ to mix in?

I was thinking that the maracas could be fun to shake and dance with at the reception? Do you think that maybe then they would be better to just have on the tables during the semi-private dinner? We have 35 guests coming, but I only ordered a box of 25 maracas. We also are giving our guests each a leather luggage tag Here is my schedule of events: 3pm - ceremony at tulum gazebo 5pm - cocktail hour with speeches, live music, and speeches at the tulum lobby bar (going to have my bridesmaids save some tables for our group and i ordered the guitar trio to play from 5 to 5:45, speeches will be from 5:45 to 6)... Here i will also be giving everyone their luggage tag gifts. 6pm - dinner at tequila mexican restaurant (should i just put maracas on the tables? Maybe i will attach a piece of paper that says "shake to kiss"?) 8 to 10:30pm - poolside reception with dancing and DJ

Thank you! We are having 35 guests ---- so 37 including ourselves at the wedding. Jazmin told me that the tables at the Tequila Mexican restaurant need to be 8 to 10 people... I just made the seating arrangement and I wanted to sit couples and families and friends by eachother... so I ended up with: Table 1 - 8 people Table 2 - 7 people Table 3 - 9 people Table 4 - 5 people Tale 5 - 8 people Do you think the resort will be ok with this? I'm using table numbers and assigned tables with the guests. We are also making a schedule in our welcome letter so that we are not too overwhelmed with the guests (and our parents) surrounding us... so we wanted to make time for guests, family, friends, as well as ourselves: Wednesday, July 30: · Bride and groom check in and get settled. · Bride and groom have dinner with groom’s family. We will be staying at the Tulum resort. Do we get to meet with the wedding coordinator before the wedding? Is it possible to have a rehearsal prior to the actual wedding? ---- I was just thinking that my wedding party could meet the night before the wedding and do a quick 5 or 10 minute run through, and then just talk about the plan for the wedding day.... I actually am working on creating a "welcome letter" for our guests with an itinerary on it... my fiance and I dont want to be swarmed by our guests all week, so we are creating set times of our availability to provide some alone time for us.... Did anyone else do this, or is planning to do it? See below: Wednesday, July 30: · Bride and groom check in and get settled. · Bride and groom have dinner with groom’s parents. Thursday, July 31: · Bride and groom take a private day together. · Bride and groom will have plans for a private dinner. Friday, August 1: · Day - Mayan Adventure. All guests welcome to join! · Evening - Bride and groom have private dinner together. Saturday, August 2: · Day - Bride and groom relax together, and make preparations for wedding. · Evening - Bride and groom have dinner with bride’s parents. Sunday, August 3: · Day - Bride and groom relax together and prepare for wedding. · 5:30pm – wedding rehearsal & meeting with wedding party and parents of bride and groom at the Tulum gazebo. · 6:00pm – dinner at the Tulum buffet - all guests welcome to join! Hello, Is it possible to book our included ala carte restaurants prior to coming down to the resort? Is it possible to book our "beach candlight dinner" prior to coming down to the resort? Is it possible to have a rehersal with bridal party? I want to make a schedule/itenary to include with the wedding letter, so that we can plan time to spend with people before going down to mexico so that we are not overwhelmed... i want to make sure we have time alone too. When does the piano bar play music?

I'm glad everything worked out ok What do you mean you left a space for everyone's room number on the welcome letter? How did you make sure that everyone received a welcome letter? How long did it take you to complete the bride and groom photos? * Im estimating 15 mins for group pictures, 15 minutes for family photos, 15 minutes for bridal party, and 45 minutes for bride and groom (2 locations for bride and groom).

ok so we are having our guests meet at the Tulum lobby bar for a "cocktail hour" from 5 to 6pm... we r getting the guitar trio to come by our group and play music from 5 to 5:45.... then I'm thinking we can do speeches from 5:45 to 6? And dinner at 6? 3-3:30pm - ceremony at the Tulum Gazebo 3:30-3:45pm - brief mingling 3:45 to 4pm - group picture 4:00-4:15 - family pictures 4:15 to 4:30pm - wedding party photos 4:30 to 5:30pm - bride and groom photos * there is a cocktail hour from 5 to 6 with guitar trio at the Tulum lobby bar. music will play from 5 to 5:45pm. 5:45 to 6pm - speeches 6:00-8:00pm - dinner at Tequilia Mexican Restaurant 8:00-10:30pm - poolside reception Does this timeline look ok? Do you think that is a good plan to set aside 4 speeches from 5:45 to 6pm? (my dad, sister, finaces brother, and fiances parents are doing the speeches) Thanks!

ok thank you for the heads up. how many people did a speech? I'm thinking that we can have my dad, fiances brother, sister, and fiances parents do a speech. I'm just worried that people might be too buzzed by poolside reception for the speeches? When did you do them - like right when the poolside reception before all the dancing? Is dinner about 2 hours long?

I am planning to bring a wireless microphone to the restaurant for speeches... do you think resort will allow this? http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/Pyle-Rechargeable-Portable-PA-System-w-WirelessMIC-Refurbished/6356887/product.html omg.... this is making me nervous for my wedding :-O I'm getting married on August 4. Was your wedding ceremony at the gzebo? Do you have any photos from your wedding? We are having about 40 people attending our wedding. I have very allergic to gluten, so Jazmin told me to bring down gluten free flour. I hope everything works out ok
