    I just received an email of a bridal event for destination weddings. It will be held Wed. Nov 20, 2013 at the Hampton Inn near SouthPark at Phillips Place. For more information, you can call 704-612-0039. The website is www.abetterplanner.com/events. I registered because they are suppose to be featuring various resorts including AmResorts. My wedding venue is at Secrets Wild Orchid which is an AmResort.

    Carolina Bridal magazine is free from Dillard's or it may be on the stands in the NorthLake and SouthPark malls. It list the various bridal shows in the area.

    Yes, please PM your planner's information. The next big bridal show is in January at the convention center. Will mostly attend, maybe April Flowers will be there. I think I decided to use wedding wire.com for my website. Haven't updated it yet.

    Wow TrooDIVA, you did very well in your planning so far!! I went to one bridal show and bought a notebook. Who is your wedding planner in Charlotte? I might be interested in that. In addition, where are you getting your real touch flowers. I was going to look into the ones HOBBY Lobby has. My TA is Babs with Wright TA, who has been wonderful!!

    I love the "knock off" dresses and prices, and I will most likely order one. However, part of me wish I could order 10 dresses and do a "Say Yes To The Dress" party with my closest friends and choose one fabulous wedding gown.

    c We LOVE Jamaica. We have been there twice already. It just feels so relaxing and welcoming. I did a girlfriend trip to the Secrets in Cancun this year and we had a FABULOUS time. Unlimited Luxury is exactly what you experience. In addition, my TA Babs, and other brides who have had their wedding at Secrets Wild Orchid, absolutely LOVE this resort. Needless to say, already reserved my date. :cheer2:

    It will. At the end of the day, you are getting married to your best friend on a BEAUTIFUL exotic island. It doesn't get any better than that. Everything else is just the frosting on the wedding cake. Lol!!

    I'm also only having a MOH and BM as the wedding party. No bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl or ring bearer. I think my friends are relived NOT to be bridesmaids.

    I'm using Babs from Wright Travel Agency and she has been very informative and quick to respond back. Sometimes I wonder when does she sleep. Lol!! I'm a night owl, and I would send her an email, she would respond right back. Other brides have used her, and LOVE her. I am beginning to see why.

    It's so wonderful to see many 2015 brides on this site. I'm now looking at differentt logo designs. What is everyone else doing this early in the planning stage?
