Coming down the stretch in the final 3 months countdown. Now, I have purchased my wedding invitations, (doing boarding passes), and just waiting for the final product to arrive. My hope is to mail them out by August 15th. Also, purchaed my Bridal Entourage gifts: Monogram tote bag, flip flops, Kimono robe, and a Personalized shot glass. For the men: Monogram Backpack, shoes for the wedding and beach, and Ear Phones There are A LOT of guests NOT coming to the wedding b/c of various reasons. Now, since our wedding will be on Thanksgiving afternoon, and almost all of the families who are not going to the wedding will be together anyway for dinner, they want us to Skype the wedding. I decided not to Skype the actual wedding ceremony, but maybe Skype during the reception. What are my other fellow November Brides doing now?

I'm sure everything will work out fine. One good thing, at least when I have been in Jamaica, the rain is quick and passing. Crossing my fingers for you.

Try not to be nervous. What issues are they having? I know some brides use I believe it's called the Seawind Beach Club for their reception. I'm sure everything with be Beautiful!!

I was thinking of ordering my passport invitations to those who are able to come and order a cheaper, but nice invitation to those guests, I know will not make the wedding.

Getting ready to order my invitations. Wanting to do passport invitations. Question: is it wrong to order the passport invitations for the 25 -30 people who will be joining us and order a cheaper yet nice invitation to the other 60 guest who I know is not coming, but still want an invitation?

Just wondering, if there are any Brides on the fourm getting married this Spring or Summer at SWO or SSJ resorts?

Now, our wedding is less than 8 months away, I feel I'm now on countdown. I ordered my dress. However, I'm Still wondering if we should use the resort photographer or hire an outside photographer? Want to do a Trash the Dress shoot, pre-ceremony and evening activities pictures. I'm wondering if the resort photographer will stay with me all afternoon to the evening hours? What is everyone else doing right now?

Frustrated with airline prices, but dealing with it and finding other options for guests paying cheaper airfares.

Thanks everyone!! So, the guest state they are going to wait to see if the prices will go down, or wait until Southwest Airlines come out with their rates. Crossing my fingers that it will be a little cheaper.

Our wedding is not until Thanksgiving 2015, but we sent out the STD last August. I was so happy when people began putting down their deposit to book their rooms. However, now that airfares are coming out, people are wanting to back out. They are calling me saying, "Do you know the airfare prices are ridiculous!!" Don't get me wrong, I do understand. When we went to Jamaica last year, the airfare was around $400.00 pp round trip. Now, the airfare ranges from $650 -$900.00 pp round trip. It is going to be real interesting to see what our final guest count will be. Most likely, the bride, groom, and a witness. Lol. Have to laugh to keep from crying sometimes.
