Im so confused about rsvp dates on stds and invites! Do you mean that your guests will have to decide if they are going 3 months after they get the STD? How did you word the "90 days to book deadline" on the STDs? Also, if you are getting married in January 2015, what rsvp date will you put on your invitation? What's the point if people have already decided after receiving the STD?

How has your planning going at the Riu Palace? We are planning for April 2015 at the Westin but just came across the Palace. The Palace looks very nice too and probably more affordable for our guests!

I was thinking to put a deposit down for each hotel to secure the date, but these are non refundable! I think we will have to suck it up and go visit sooner than the summer so we can decide on the resort.

Hi All, My FI and I are planning a wedding in Costa Rica sometime in April 2015. We want to send the STDs out ASAP as to give our guests ample time(atleast 1 year) to prepare/save for the wedding. However, we havent decided on the exact resort (we are deciding between 2). We wanted to take a trip to Costa Rica sometime in the summer (the green season, to save some money). So, my question is: is it necessary to put the resort on the save the date. We wont be deciding on the resort until the summer, but I want to send the STDs within the next 2 months or so. Some advice, please?

CONGRATS on your engagement! I too am a 2015 bride. My fiance and I are looking to having our DW in Costa Rica, April 2015. Any other Costa Rica brides out there?
