ok so i am a newbie to all of this. The prices that you have here, is this for your flight and room?

We are doing the same thing. We got married last year at the J.O.P because of personal circumstances. We want our symbolic ceremony to be on our second anniversary, which is July 3, 21014. I emailed the wedding coordinators at MC last Friday and got our date confirmed on Monday. By reading the reviews, it appears that this is a much easier way to go! I am so excited!!

I am already married and just confirmed my date for a symbolic wedding at the Majestic Colonial in DR. I have been reading the experiences of other brides and the only negative thing that I have found so far is the fact that there was confusion about the complimentary wedding. The resort offers a complimentary wedding if 15 rooms are booked for at least 7 nights. I have read that some brides had their guests book rooms through travel agents, which disqualified them for the complimentary package. The fight was that the contracts and websites never specified that the rooms had to be booked through the resort. In the end, those brides that pushed for it, was granted the complimentary package. Other than that, I have not heard anything else. Can someone please comment with experience or even send me pics so that I can get a better idea of how things are out there? It would be greatly appreciated!
