We are doing a buffet to get away from the same meal per person. Instead of doing the restaurant we decided to do the beach reception since there is no cost. This way we can spend more on the food.
The cost person is for open bar. That is not included. The drinks included are house wine and house beer.
As far as flowers go, I am bringing my own. We went with silk flowers some they look so real. This way I get what I want for our bouquets.
I am getting married on April 25 but did not have to pay a security deposit. I was prepared to though just to hold the date. That may be something new. I didn't book my wedding until about 9 months out and they didn't have the 2014 pricing available right away either.
Thank you for your answers. I am getting married on April 25, 2014 and planned on doing a private reception. Did you do a buffet or just the preplanned meal for everyone?
Just curious if anyone used Photo shop Caribe. I emailed with George and sent my deposit over about 10 days ago. I haven't heard a response as to whether he received it to confirm my date. Did anyone else have an issue like this?
What day are you getting married? I also have my wedding set and am getting married on April 25. We are doing a beach wedding since that's always what I thought of when my fiancee said he wanted to do destination. We are also doing the Crystal package and booked the same photographer you are looking at. I've seen some of his work and liked it. Also on some of the older threads people were talking about them. I'm pretty sure we are also doing a private reception since we are going to have quite a few guests but haven't decided on the restaurant. This way we can have the restaurant until 11:30 to make it more like a reception for a traditional wedding and hire a DJ. I'm bringing someone to do my hair and makeup so I'm not sure about this. I've been told by Carolina that the Civil Service is about 10 minutes in length. Hope this helps.
I am doing a civil service as well and have been told it will be in Spanish with translation. From what I have tag on this board it is possible to add your own vows to personalize it a bit. I have heard anything about the sand ceremony.
My wedding is April 25, 2014. I also heard that one way around the fee is to book your photographer on night at the resort so depending on that cost it could be a little cheaper, but thanks for letting me know the cost.
What photographer did everyone use? Also if you used one from Punta Cana what was the vendor fee for the resort? Im looking at Michael Weiler from Caribbean Emotions.
I am getting married April 25, 2014 at the Palladium and am in need of a photographer. Does anyone know if we have to pay for day passes for the photographer if we are getting married at the resort?
I have booked my wedding for April 25, 2014 on the beach. We are looking into having a private reception. Does anyone know what restaurants we have to choose from?
