    So many people told me to choose an adults only but I felt bad for the people with kids! I kept putting myself in their shoes! If I had kids I would totally bring them! So I chose a kid friendly resort and let the parents decide what they wanted to do! And guess what everyone who has kids is bringing them! It's a family vacation after all! <3

    I know it really is insane! I can't believe my fi and I thought this wedding would cost $10K max LOL yeah right! Honestly we have 53 people total and we're spending more than your friend! I can't imagine having 90 people! It's good because you have all of your loved ones BUT it's bad because the resort really takes alot out of you! And you're right you would have to get two dance floors! Plus I'm sure there are other things you'll have to double up on! We're doing the FREE package and doing everything else a la carte...it just doesn't make sense to pay for any of the packages with the size of our group. If we had 20 people it makes sense...if we had 35 people it still makes sense but after that you're better off going the a la carte route! I confirmed that yesterday when I did an excel price list comparison.... Good luck with the search! Keep us posted on your plans! <3 Pam

    I read somewhere that us Canadian girls can request to work with Chandlyn to eliminate the middle person (Laura) BUT so far Laura has been great! <3 Plus I'm out of Toronto and Laura is based in Toronto too! Not sure why they did it this way.....

    Hey ladies! From what I understand Chandlyn is the coordinator down there (at the resort) and Laura is the wedding planner out of Toronto! I'm dealing with Laura in Toronto....I hear Chandlyn is fabulous!

    Oh my god that's awesome to read!! Can't wait - so excited!! <3 Hey Bee! I completely agree - it's insane what they're charging! We're hosting a private event on the beach and are paying $10 an hour per person AN HOUR LOL for open bar! We're doing 6 hours plus dinner.... Just crazy I think! My fiancé and I are floored with the prices! But I keep saying to him - could be worse! I have friends in Toronto that have had weddings north of $70k and we're no where near that! I will say I looked into off resort BUT the royalton is in the middle of nowhere and I was concerned that transportation to and back would be too long for our 51 guests.... Either way I did look into it! And you should too! It's good to check out your options! How big is your group?? Good luck girl! Pam

    Wow you're booking her over a year in advance! I tried booking her but I'm 6 months away and she's already booked LOL Should've started planning this wedding a long time ago!
