    Thank you MrsAC2B. I love lace too! I was initially tossing between babyonline or dressilyme and after speaking to both,I felt alot More comfortable and dressily understand what I want better. their english is actually not that bad too which was pretty surprising. did you pester baby to send picture or they send them to you because it is done?

    Definitely white lining would look better. I like the original dress its very elegant and sexy yet still sophisticated. Who are u using to make the replica,if I may ask? I have ordered mine couple of weeks ago from dressilyme. Paris and Milly have been very helpful. And I did the custom made dress with paint as well. Changing the back,the sleeves and the neckline as well as chapel train instead of sweep. Got them to agree to send me pictures before I sent the payment. initially they said that it was their busiest period so they wouldnt send pictures but told them that I am wearing this dress for 2 wedddings and want to make sure 100% perfect. And then her manager agree to. I will update here once they send me pictures. How soon do you reckon I can start pestering abt the dress? These are done by paint.

    Hey girls who had ordered from dressilyme before. I am trying tp order my dress with customisations. And I am not sure how to do it. I have exchanged couple of emails with Paris,but I am kinda lost what she meant by writing down my customisations on the order comment? Where is the order comment and is it the same as the order inquiry box? Help please. Thank you x

    I actually bought the satin sample chart from dressilyme. Anyone knows how to pay with paypal with dressilyme? There are only credit card payments, money transfer and western union as payments. But they have the paypal icon. To brides who had bought from them before, how did u pay?

    the jim hjelm I like is 4000+,which buying from jasmines will still make a huge difference but still cannot justify spending 650 when I can get both dress and hair and make up packages going somewhere else. I spoke to sunny from babyonline but he described the dress of my skirt wrongly (tulle instead of organza) when asked abt it. So kinda made me doubt it. went ahead with dressilyme. Paris has been so helpful and I was quoted 145(15% off online) and 25 for the changes I would like to make.i heard and read so many things about dressilyme. Going to a professional measurement placr on Monday then im ordrring the dress asap

    thanks hun I feel a lot better now. I have contacted all 3 companies,the ones that are more within my budget is dressilyme and babyonline as jasmine has quoted me 600!!

    No luck yet as i still am not sure who to go to. Jasmine's quoted me $650!! Mind you, the original dress was $4000++, but i am not sure if i am willing to pay $650, excluding shipping for a knock off. I have just emailed dressilyme today with few paints (describing what i would like to do to the dresses etc and the Modified endings with the changes). I am about to send a message to babyonline to see if they can do the same and give me a quote. My top bodice will have laces over the organza. I am not sure who does the best with lace and organza. ANYONE, please help?? Thank you

    Hey ladies. I am too looking for a cheap knock off dress. Posted on the other knockoff dress forum,but no one has check it out or reply to my post. I am in a dilemma. I am thinking of making a knockoff of jim hjelm dress but not sure which vendor to go to. so far I have dressilyme,babyonline and jasmine's bridal. dressilyme has quoted $40.69 for alterations to the dress's sleeves and back. They had done the dress before and sounds like they know what they are doing. Babyonline had quoted me usd 200 but wanted me to do sketches of the alterations on tthedress. They claimed that their designers know ho to do it but not sketch it??? I find it weird. jasmine's has quote me abt 450 for the dress. need help please

    And fyi,this is a jim hjelm dress. I want to change the front sleeves to this 1 and the back to this 1. do you reckon it will look ok? Just have to make sure that the sleeves for front and back will be the same with the laces on the dress which is the Alencon lace

    Hey ladies I am a newbie here. I have a question of who should I go for to make my knock off jim hjelm. There are no beadings or embroideries just laces from the sleeves and all the way before the trumpet skirt starts.i am also changing the lace to off shoulder sleeves and the back,to lose the string and change it to again continuation of the off shoulder lace sleeves and include buttons running down to lower back. I have dressilyme,babyonline and jasmine as my choice. Not sure who I should go wit. Help please.

    Hello girls. I am very very new here. In fact I have just joined the website just for this thread. I have found this dress,it is jim jhelm. I went to a store that stocks his collection and tried his dress with similar style to this picture. I am so absolutely in love with this. Question is, should I use babyonline,dressilyme or jasmine's bridal to make? It is pretty simple,no beadings,no embroidery,just laces.Need opinion..
