    I'm trying to figure out what to bring with us for decor?. We're getting married at the Hard Rock in April 2014, and they've given us vendor info for decorations but they are both pricey. I know it would be cheaper to get the decorations here at home and bring it with us but will they let us use it? Will they let us set it up? Or will the resort charge us to set it up? Does anyone know?

    I think the 2 different colored dresses would be really nice. I was thinking about doing that to add color but decided to go with color for the groomsmens shirts instead. Good luck deciding

    I've decided I want some color to my mainly white ceremony decor choice. The bridesmaid dresses are Malibu from David's bridal and the groomsmen will be in coral shirts with white pants. The groom will be in the white pants but with the Malibu blue shirt. Flowers to be a mix of roses and calli lilies in coral, bright pink and white.

    I loved their pics too! So excited to have that finalized Our wedding date is April 11th and we are at the Hard Rock hotel & Casino for the week. So looking forward to the resort and the wedding How about you? When and where?

    Thanks for the info Kerriann5 I've been trying to find out if the credit could be used on hair n make up. It's unfortunate that you can't thou definitely would have come in handy. Especially since I'm thinking of doing a hair trial. We've still been struggling with deciding on a photographer. After reading all tge reviews on the site and talking with several companies We have decided to go with HDC! So excited everything is coming together. Good luck all

    We are looking at the civil ceremony. But would love to have something in English and possibly with more intimate feel, like the idea of a sans ceremony. We are both Roman Catholic but aren't very religious and I am divorced so the religious wont work. Is pastor Ricks service a legal ceremony? Or would we have to have a judge and him following to have both?

    I'm thinking of put my hair up, its curly n the humidity plays havoc with so figure it's best. Nervous about having someone who has never done my hair before actually doing it for such an important occasion. Anyone doing hair trials? Or know anything about the hairdressers there?

    We are getting married at HRPC on April 11/2014. Yay! Rates are pricey but we really wanted this resort so pushed our TA and we got prices we could live with. Our choice was between HRPC and Dreams (apparently both resorts have all food tendered by USA Costco). Based on a friend's experience getting married at HRPC in 2012, the resort credit and the overall resort amenities we decided on HRPC. We are dealing Mia in Miami as well and she seems really helpful so far. Struggling with which photographer to use? Any advice? Congrats to everyone on your engagements and upcoming weddings Happy planning

    Well everything is finally moving along We've chosen to go with Hard Rock in Punta Cana for our destination wedding. The wedding date is set for April 11th, 2014 Yay so exciting! Now so many details to iron out. Any advice on photographers???

    We got engaged 6 weeks ago and are planning a destination wedding in Punta Cana, DR. We have between a few resorts, narrowed that down to 2. Hard Rock and Dreams... Leaning towards Hard Rock, now we just have to get it at a price our guests can live with. Fingers crossed, will keep you all posted. Hoping to have the resort finalized and booked ASAP!
