My heart was set on the Ibersostar Rose Hall Suites but so far all weekends in July 2014 are booked.  I looked into the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach but the scenary looks all that great from the pics I have seen. I also came across the Sunset Beach Resort and Spa in Montego Bay that seems affortable but I haven't seen any recent reviews from brides that married there, the ones I have come across where in 2011, so I'm kinda skeptical plus the website doesn't really sell me.  I will take your advice and look into the Riu!! For now this seems to be the hardest part, and it's only the very beginning! if you go on trip advisor, there are reviews for sunset beach and resort from just few days ago

I plan for a July 2014 destination wedding in Jamaica, but I myself have been started to feel overwhelmed with trying to pick a nice affortable resort!! UGGH! welcome, i too am a Jamaican bride so welcome MON... i can tell you that my resort is extremely nice and one of the least expensive. now it won't work for you if you have children attending. as I am with sandals and it is adults only. From my understanding the Riu is very very nice as well and children can attend. here is link to where i wil be getting married. www.sandals.com/whitehouse we're all here to help and in this together.
