  10. Yeah I wasn't sure if everyone was going to move over there... I'm just going to try to keep up on both... can get tricky! haha I got your reply! Thanks
  11. Ohh that is exciting!! I know there is at least one other Lady on here getting married at Moon Palace! Congrats on making that decision I know for some it can be overwelming! I am not familiar with your location so I am not much help there - but all the ladies on here are super helpful so I'm sure we can help you out with stuff along the way!! There is a lot of things to think about - like you mentioned STDs, Invites, Website, Dress, Jewelry, Groom's Outfit - and so on. . . I am a huge believer in making list. Specially with something were there are so many parts to figure out. I'm sure (if you haven't already) it would help to make one or two. Start by just having a master list of everything you think of that needs to be done - then have a calendar - start putting the things on the calendar that you know you need to have done by a certain time. (ie- deposits your vendors will give you a payment time frame) and getting your dress ( you need to make sure you have enough time to get it in and have your fittings) Then, come up with when you want to send stuff out (ie - STDs & Invites - Plus you RSVP date) Lastly, fill in the other stuff so that it is spread out and you never have too many things to do at one time (ie - get your wedding day jewelry, shoes, head piece/veil - bridesmaid gifts and so on) That sounds like a lot but it will all come together if you have it down in one place! As for me - I am getting married Next October - We have been planning since last October - We told everyone that is invited this April but haven't announced are engagement to everyone yet..... We send our Save the Dates in July (well okay I ran into a few delays and I think it was August 1st hehe) and plan on sending Invites in October (Now that I am back from Vacation I will work on them - I think I can get them all figured out in Sept and send them on time!! *hope so anyways!) I'm not giving much of an RSVP time frame as I am asking for them by January - but am sending out little "gifts" every three months up until two weeks before the wedding so I need them back before I start sending out stuff. We are only inviting 22 people (Parents, Siblings, 1 Aunt each and 1 Best Friend each ... and everyone's + 1) Other then booking our room and date we haven't done much. Welll besides Welcome Bags items - I'm a bit obsessed with them!! hahaha Okay maybe I'm a bit crazy over them!!! Anyways - My Vacation was good - was in Colorado - hadn't been there in a while so it was nice to go back! Don't get overwhelmed - just take things one step at a time!!! As I said in another post - sorry for rambling - I'm super sleepy but since I just woke up I can't get back to sleep now!

That's okay - I just took a nap and didn't miss anything!! haha I don't think I will do the honeymoon registry - I don't plan on doing any - Only if people start asking where we are registered and then make it seem like they need us to (I don't want anyone to assume that we just want cash - The last two weddings I have been too they didn't register for anything and asked for money - I Hate that!!!!!) I guess I just assume that no one will ask since they are paying to come . . . but I have a feeling that people will ask anyways and I get wanting to give us something (I know I would give something even if it was a DW) Plus, I have no idea if the people we invite to our AHR will be looking for one. Soo... to answer your question. . . I may do a registry - if I get the feeling people are looking for one - but I doubt I will do the honeymoon one. Of course it does sound like a gooooood idea!!!!! hahaha Sorry I'm ramballing... I just woke up from a much needed nap and now my head is fuzzy
  13. Sorry for the delay in replying - I have been on vacation since last Monday - just got home and of course I HAD to jump on and see what's new on here : ) We talked about all the different options for our trip - stay put - go to one of the other two Sandals on St. Lucia - go to a different resort - go to a different Island - and so on... we finally just ended up booking our room at the Halcyon (were we are getting married at) for 2 weeks. We will be there something like 6 days before and 6 days after the wedding so we figure that will give us plenty of time to really get to check out the island .. and I assume we will be there 3 - 4 days before and after all out guest so we can actually have enough alone time without anyone feeling like they came all that way and not get to hang out with us. Although - having just got off a plane from Denver today my FI HATES flying and now wants me to figure out how we can get to St. Lucia without flying! Or maybe only flying to FL and taking a boat from there! haha I don't know if this is possible but I'm going to email my TA right now! If it didn't sound like fun I would have told him No but I think that sounds like an amazing idea - I hope something is possible!!! Where have you stayed in St. Lucia? I only have 12 of each style of bags - so I'm not sure that would be helpful - Sorry
  14. HiiiiiiiLadies I'm Baack and of course I had to jump right on here when I got home... suitcase is still in the living room but it can wait..... only about 200 post to go though on here ... Not bad HAHHA If I missed anything - sorry - I had a lot to read! Thanks I had PLENTY to drink I promise!! Had a couple of nights like this!! haha Thanks - it was hard to stay away!!! CUTE! Hahaha - I hope you get them and I hope you like them... they do take a little figuring out at first - if you don't do them right they don't really save space.. but ones you get it down they are great!! Thank You! All was good! Although my FI HATES flying - so now I have to send my TA a message and ask if there are other ways to get to St. Lucia without flying ... or at least flying all the way. . . he want to take a cruise there - no idea how I'm going to make this happen but since it sounds fun I told him I'd see what I can come up with HAHA You can do a honeymoon registry right on the beaches website (sorry if this was already mentioned!) OOT BAGS!!!! If you need any help with those I might have a tip or two! Awesome! Glad you found an airplane punch! I am inviting alll you lovlies to my AHR!!! How was Vegas??? Hope you got to enjoy yourself! Ohhhh you should come to Boston... We can go to the shop together - I live in the next town over! You will get there faster then you think !! Hmm that stinks - The original date I wanted happen to be on a Sunday -- I decided that I wanted my Location more and picked a new date... so I'm not much help on where you can go but I can tell you that St. Lucia is not an option for Sundays either
  15. Alright Ladies - I need to get dressed and head out now - Don't miss me too much! If you need anything from me send a PM here or on FB since I may never catch up on the post when I come back!!! I will have my phone so I will probably be lurking but I hate typing and trying to update stuff from it so I may post a few hello - Don't talk smack cause I may be looking!!! tee hee MUAH xoxo
  16. Well okay - I have a little confession! Those are just my clothes - no shoes or toiletries (but still a big deal for me!) There are four of us going... we decided that since the airline charges for every checked bag - we would all do carry ons and split one checked bag... there is no other way to get shoes and toiletries specially with my step mom she usually has a bag that size just for toiletries (I have noo idea what she brings!) My FI fit everything he is bringing into a large backpack Ugh! How do they do that?!?! He bought a new pair of shoes that look like his nice shoes he usually wears but they are actually sneakers so he only has the one pair of shoes that is he wearing. On the other hand - I get to use his space in the checked bag YAY!
  17. Yay! No new undies for you and you are all set!!! hahahah I've seen those "I do" decals - so cute!
  18. Oh but yes it has blue in it so that would work for everyone's something blue if they wanted it to!
