  1. Congratulations! And beautiful photos. I really love your pearl earrings.
  2. I'm pretty behind.... 1. Canada (Where I live) 2. USA
  3. Very pretty! I would never guess you got it for so little.
  4. Great tip! I would never have thought of this myself.
  5. It says I don't have permission to view it... But I'll bet the pictures are awesome
  6. That would be awesome There's a surprising amount of threads and links for us Canadian brides on here too!
  7. I'm glad that it went well for that wedding in LA! I'm looking at two side by side houses right now, together they sleep a max of 36 people lol. And bonus points for a pool with a full glass cover... No scary Florida wildlife in you pool, all of the rentals I've seen there have that.
  8. Yeah... it's insane how much attitude can be in such an adorable little person. On the other hand, my DS is a total boy, always has bruises and black eyes and just looks battered all the time. He's going to give me a heart attack, so there's definite pluses to both genders LOL Renting is almost not worth it anywhere in Southern Ontario, it's insane... We can't afford to rent a real house, but hope to buy one maybe in 5 years. Kind of frustrating. I didn't think about talking money with family and friends. No kidding that would be awkward. Definitely a TA then, I just need to find one. I'm giving myself until January 2014 to have things booked and STD's sent out so I have some breathing room there at least. I think a year is good notice for this kind of thing, right? Oh you'll get there! You're already at twice what I am lol
  9. http://www.etsy.com/listing/101599865/custom-make-vintage-wedding-dress-a-line Is the dress I've fallen in love with.... Does anybody know if what dress it really is?
  10. My tentative budget is between $8000-9000 including the honeymoon.
  11. So glad I'm not the only one to wonder about this! I am going to do small OOT bags, but I'm trying really hard not to go overboard... Sadly, not going overboard is NOT my strong suit.
  12. Wow, I wouldn't have guessed they would be so sturdy! I was looking at the individulal ones (I'm planning to make my own bouquet but I like the idea of adding something unique, like Sola roses
  13. I see the threes being worse than two at work too (daycare) My kids haven't developed typically so it hasn't been quite the same at home. But to be honest, the attitude that came from my DD right around her 4th birthday is the hardest for me so far, she's like a little teenager some days, and others she's sweet and gentle. It's crazy. I've decided that the cute is a self defense mechanism. I'm years away from buying again, and I still poke around now and then to see what's around. It's fun lol. That's awesome. I've considered getting a TA just for that reason, I'm planning to rent a big house or two for everybody so I need to know how many will be there to book properly.
  14. I never even thought about this. I love the idea, and I'm starting with your playlist and adding some classic Beatles
  15. I'm planning for January 2015 too! But in Florida Happy planning!
  16. Wow I love your ttd shots! I think the last one is my favorite, so dramatic!
  17. My kids are 2 and 4, so still chaotic Lol. Happy house hunting. Shopping for a house is so much fun! We're the opposite, we're small town northerners, London and KW are huge to me. I like it here though I get it about the cat, I'm very attached to mine, I've had him for 10 years now. My fh isn't helping me plan at all yet. I don't think he gets how early I want everything done so I'm not stressed right before we leave Lol Ucfjennifer, I love that idea! I've actually decided to post from my phone while I do the bedtime routine. It's helping Lol.
  18. Becky Simmons, that would totally happen to me. I might get extra sewn into the cups for my dress.
  19. My first house was in London, I loved it a lot, the prices were quite a bit lower than the KW area as well, it's crazy... We're actually moving to a new townhouse here in a couple of months, it's a bit bigger, and in a better school district. I kind of miss living in an apartment but I can't live without a backyard for my kids again, it's such a lifesaver for lazy days. It's nice to hear somebody being responsible with their cat! So many people think that cats just know better, but that is not my experience with cats at all. I've found tons of helpful information here already! Although... That's why I spend all my time on here reading and not typing lol. We've been engaged since December, and we're only just now starting to plan, January 2015 seems so far away.
  20. Oh I'm with you on the cat. Our cats were banned from the balcony after they insisted they needed to walk the railing. We set up a cat tree in front of the window for them instead and they just had to deal with it. Now that we have a townhouse, I let our kitty out on the deck to chase bugs, and he loves it. I'm usually a forum junkie, but there aren't a lot of people getting married in Florida, and less outside the keys so there aren't really any chat threads for me lol. I have a year and a half before mmy wedding though, so lots of time to get to templates!
