There's a good hospital, just no surgery. They had an awesome birthing suite though, with a tub and a huge shower, plus yoga balls and a bunch of other things. It was a wonderful experience. It was really awesome, and being able to just be after was worth more than I can tell you. Not having anybody poking at me probably saved me from being nasty too. Besides, I was closer to a hospital with full surgical help there (in a city) than I was when I had my first, and the midwife had all the same equipment that the hospital I had my first in did. That's how I convinced FH (And I told him he could figure out childcare for our oldest if we had to spend a couple of days in the hospital lol)

Lol. Said second child sent that early. *planned a homebirth instead. He came after an hour and 22 minutes and I was very, very glad I didn't try to go to the hospital.

Nothing too crazy with my kids. The first I went into labor in a snowstorm, which was a bit scary (small northern town without surgical capabilities, if anything goes wrong they have to helicopter you to thunder bay) but it went well, and only took 4 (very intense) hours. With my second I was worried about having the baby on the car because my first was so fast and just planned a home birth

That sounds awesome to me. Those times are very memorable.

Right now I'm thinking I'll do a violet purple, ivory and grey. I'm aiming for a vintage theme with lots of lace.

I've heard a bit about it, only from people who aren't sure they'll be able to come. And I sympathize with them about that, we had to miss a wedding not that long ago because we just couldn't do the trip.

I always said that growing up. Now it's pretty cool, it's usually hot enough to go to the splash pad with my kids and just hang out in the shade all day.

It's about time! I didn't put a lot of work into it until this week though, so I guess that's not bad.

It gets pretty hot and humid where I live in the summer. I grew up up north so it's still a bit of a shock to me every year lol. I do love my air conditioning.
