    just emailed them about this and they said no - just need to bring a copy of the marriage cert and that the ceremony will be changed from legal to a renewal of vows. i asked if there was a price difference and they just ignored that part of the question! hahah

    thank you! i've been reading ALL of your posts - you are very very helpful! thank you for all your responses to me and everyone else!! I have a few questions if you have time! do you have pix of your ceremony?? i would love to see!! what was your fav resturant at the resort and how was the nightlife? i saw they have "entertainment" - what was that? did you do any excursions off the resort? what were the included water sports you could do? did you go to the spa or get nails dones there?? ANY other tips/ideas/suggestions for me? Im having i think about 50-60 ppl coming down and we are having it at the casita at 4pm have a great day!! congrats!!

    welcome to the craziness! haha i am getting ready to send out my invites this week. do you thnk its too early? half of my gusts are already booked bc i put all the info on my wedding website with the travel agent and sent that with the save the dates. I also registered too and gifts are magically disappearing! lol i have my dress (havent started alterations), ordered bridesmaids/MOB dresses, and starting collecting stuff for the OOT bags bc I just know all the cute summer stuff will be gone by december! Same goes for bathing suits and flip flops! maybe its just an excuse for shopping haha GOOD LUCK PLANNING!!!

    also i forgot, thank you thank you thank you for posting more pics i still would love to see like a shot of the cocktail tables and recpetion/dance floor from afar just for decor ideas! your pics are just amazing!!! i hope my wedding can be as beautiful as yours!!

    hey alexis! hope you're enjoying the married life! I wanted to see pic of how the dinner and cocktail hour was set up for decorations. i debating on making my own centerpeices bc i heard they are outrageous! any pics or info on the reception would be greatly appreciated!!

    I totally cannot decide which photographer to use. both prices are similar ~3000 for 8 hrs plue TTD included. they both will also reduce the rate for vendor fees. anyone have suggestions? it seems misha is more artisitc while brian seems to catch everything. anyone have anything to share?? PLEASE!

    hahah aww! i can't wait to see more of your pics! few other questions 1. you mentioned you had the DJ - did he play the song list you sent him? i am debating on DJ vs iPod bc im particular about what i want played! 2. did you have the jamaican trio or steel drums during your cocktail hr? 3. did you end up getting the $1000 dance floor or did you just dance on the sand? was it worth it if you did?? 4. should i add an 1hr to the reception or just have everyone go to the disco after?? 5. did they use the same chairs for the ceremony and reception or did u decorate both? how much did it cost to bring your own napkins and stuff?? okkkk thats all I'll bug you with right now! thank you thank you - maybe you should be a wedding planner now!! lol

    wow, alexis, your journal is ah-mazing. thank you for sharing! my wedding is at SWO 12.3.13 and was wondering if you could share some dos and donts when you return from secrets! what options to get, what to for go. also did you have the hotel deliver your welcome bags (it said that had a fee of $3/bag) which i thought was kinda silly but just wondering! I also am getting the welcome bonfire - what time did it start? how long did it last? anything you would do differently? what was just perfect?! i know you will be super busy so take your time and let me (and everyone else!) know when you can! CONGRATS!!!!

    Im getting married at secrets wild orchid 12.3.13 and was wondering the same thing. do they let you bring your own things such as linens and bows or do they charge you a fee? any info you get would be helpful. please share!
