Has anyone done videography for their wedding? It's getting big right now and I would love to have it. But not the cheesy videos haha the ones you see all over Pinterest right now.

Okay ladies! I need your help because I'm fixing to pull my hair out. My ceremony is set to start at 3:30 and they have my reception scheduled to start at 4:30 (I opted out for the cocktail hour) whenever I asked my coordinator to push my reception back to 5 to where I have a full hour in between the two for pictures she said that wasn't possible? I'm pissed because if I did have the cocktail hour I could have the reception pushed back to 5 because that would give the full "cocktail hour." Any advice on what to do? Has anyone that has gotten married before run into this issue? Or did you have a full hour even though you swapped the cocktail hour for 10 people comped for dinner?

My trades are: Instead of the photo package I get, 2 drapes and 2 corsages for the columns Instead of flowers, I get a sound system for the ceremony Instead of having a cocktail hour, I get 10 people comped for dinner on top of the original 20 In my opinion the trades suck, but what else can you do? haha

How much are they quoting you? If I use them I end up paying $10 more than I would if I just went with the Dreams DJ Dreams: $1540 (3 hours DJ + Dance floor) Mannia: $1550 (3 hours DJ + Dance floor + $150 vendor fee)

Is anyone doing programs? I'm trying to weed out what is necessary and what isn't since everything seems to be adding up quickly haha

Haha well luckily my travel agent has worked with my coordinator before and she got everything straightened out for me! So confusing

Yes it is one of my engagement pictures! We have to do the garden because none of the beaches are handicap accessible :/

Is anyone else having issues with their coordinator not speaking English correctly? Mine makes no sense when she emails me

Meg, it's YOUR wedding, do what you want to do. If someone elses feelings get hurt, so be it. I'm a photographer so I am EXTREMELY picky with who does my pictures. This is your only wedding, think about who you want to capture all those special moments

Is anyone having their reception on the Garden? I haven't heard any reviews about it. We are planning on doing that because my MawMaw is in a wheelchair and I don't think it would work if we had it on one of the beaches.
