I mentioned this to Jose my Dj.. and he laughed so hard.. said it iss actually tge smallest inhabited island and only tiny planes can get there or tug boats.. he did say if I wanted the small private island experience ..he could arrange something from Nassau. . Almost tempting

Thanks.. I glimpsed it but I'm already set for Nassau. I cannot fathom having my wedding on an even smaller island.

I did like the Comfort Suites on Paradise Island.. mainly because staying there gives you access to Atlantis resort and property... My fiance is local and says The Riu is a horrible location, and was not thrilled about The Breazes, did you check on Sandals Resort?

I have stayed there, it is a great location for reheasal dinner/welcome party .. even for the reception, not liking for the ceremony, but the beaches are very close... it sits on a hill and has great sea view..

Sounds like we are on the similar page, i have also booked Jose Ageeb, for the same reason his response time was fabulous. I am planning a rehearsal dinner/welcome party at a local restaurant off Atlantis property.. it was costly for the transportation but the location seems relaxed and the pricing was much easier. Jose will be handling the welcome party and the reception is being handled by his partner Ken.. He is also handling alot of other things for me, like lighting and transportation, and he found a makeup artist and hair stylist for me. I did get the spa experience on a past visit to Atlantis and enjoyed it, pricey but enjoyable.

I have booked a local DJ called Jose The Party Maker... I had my fiance look into him and heard him play at a local club called waterloo or waterloos. and said he was great..

I have traveled to The Bahamas many times and have visited the Greek Church.. it is very beautiful. My fiance is local and said they recently had a new priest but it is a pretty location. Personally i am planning a beach wedding.

My wedding is in Nassau on Paradise Island.. but i would definitely tell you call my dj, he is sooo much more you can pick his brain for ideas, i called him and we spoke for 45 minutes and pretty much hashed out all of the generally details for my wedding. he calls himself Jose The Party Maker, and i found him on a website partybahamas.net but heard about him on this forum and the Knot.com and when i inquired locally his name was everywhere, I booked him and so far i am very happy with his response and attention. Consider the main Island of nassau if any because when i initially looked into my wedding i thought about Abaco and the logistics were crazy. keep in touch
