Hey gals, well my dreams of having the reception at the Seaside Grill are crushed! It is an extra $2000! However, after looking at more pics of the Terrace I think that will be just as great! Does anyone know if they will reduce the cost of the package if you bring your own photographer? And also what if you forgo the cocktail hour? I could certainly ask Fatima and she has been wonderful about getting back to me quickly, but I know you all have likely asked these questions before. And, Jenny, I know how you feel about the undesired expanding guest list. We are dealing with the same thing with "long-lost" relatives tht we are expected to invite and are paying for the wedding ourselves.

I am also pleased to see an updated forum. I just booked out date with Dreams and am beginning to sort out all the details. All of your thoughts and details have truly helped me make some cost-effective decisions! I am still trying to decide if we will bring our own photographer or use one in the area. Photo Shoots looks great! Aslo, considering the cost of the Decor Packages at the resort I will likely be bringing my own decorations. Does anyone know if you can reserve the Seaside Grill for the reception? I have had my eye on that location since I started looking for resorts after we got engaged.
