Hi Ladies...I've tried posting this three times today lol... Anyways I wanted to share some pricing I got from my TA today... Thank you for your email. For the disco to be private for 2 hours the cost depends on the amount of guests that will be attending up to 20 guests is $500 20 to 50 guests is $700 51 to 100 guests is $1000 These prices includes a DJ, an open bar and a bartender for 2 hours. The disco is opened at 11pm except on a Tuesday. The private dinner on the beach is $67 per person plus $600 for the private location. This includes buffet dinner on the pool deck, an open bar, bartender and servers, tables, chairs, white table cloth, white linen napkins, glass and silver wares. The location is for 4 hours, from 6:30pm - 10:30pm. DJ service is $300 per hour For an after dinner party on the pool deck the cost is $15 per person and $300 per hour for the DJ service. This includes an open bar, bartender and chairs. Bon fire on the beach is $200, with an open bar is $15 per person

Hi Booked Riu Ocho Rios about two months ago for next May...date May 14, 2014 on the beach can't wait....I also can't wait for my friends and family to finally start putting down their deposits...my TA did warn me that everyone does wait until the last week and she wasn't kidding...we asked for quotes between $1200-1500 a lot of people were taken back by the price we ended up with but I think people also forget its a week away....either way I can't wait...we are also doing a cocktail reception back at home in June...anyone else doing a at home reception?

@ moodyc82 - waiting does suck!!! We put our deposit down over 2 months ago and our group still has over a month to reserve/pay their deposit and it's KILLING ME!!! and people keep dropping off the longer we wait...man oh man...

Does anyone know if you bring a photographer with you if you still have to pay the vendor fee? I would think not considering your paying for them to stay there all week but just thought I'd ask...

I think an OOT bag is a great idea...though I'm struggling on what to put in it as I would like to keep it light...as for the neosporin, bandaids etc...I believe most people pack those kinda items and most resorts now have little stores where you can buy stuff..but if you have the room then I don't think it would hurt

Sorry May 14th 2014 so just over a year away I wish it was sooner I started getting quotes from photgraphers here and most said i had to pay for them to travel plus a photo package which is crazy if you ask me...so I then started getting quotes from people in Jamaica and really liked Brians photos etc...but since we are still waiting for our guests to pay their deposit I'm was going to wait to book anyways in the meantime I"ve started getting pricing for our home reception and got in touch with a company about renting their photobooth for the night on the side asked about their pricing for destination weddings and this place we only have to pay for her trip and we get the photos included we are meeting her wednesday to work out all the details....so we'll Rum cake and cookies Yummy....I'm thinking personalized Bubbas or fans for favors just not sure yet

Booked May 14th @ 5pm...can't wait... I've also emailed the WC and so has my TA and nothing back...I'm being told it might be because our wedding is so far away but I want to start getting my budget together... My guests still have until June 7th to book...the waiting is killing me on whose coming...

Hey Just joined the site and have spent all afternoon reading good thing I'm at work LOL A lot of great information on here...Thanks Kdoyle Wedding is booked for May 14th @ 5pm...hoping for a sunset wedding, semi private dinner and then either the disco or bon fire afterwards. Looking to maybe bring a photographer from home as I've found your pricing is actually cheaper then the quotes I've been getting - anyone doing this? Also what is everyone doing for welcome packages/wedding favors?

We have booked our wedding...May 14th, 2014 at Riu in Ocho Rios, Jamaica...and we can't wait... It's going to be a small wedding with just our famlies and close friends... Anyone else going booked at the Riu?
