Random Question: Does El Dorado include charger plates with the included decor (along with the white linens and such)? I don't care if they are white but wanted to see if they had any at all.

In order to actually get Sarani herself you have to book a full day package. I didn't feel the need to get "getting ready" pictures and chose to do the 6 hour package with Lunic (one of Sarani's associates). Sarani sent me a couple of her photos to show Lunic's work, and it was very good so we just went with that

"1. do not use a travel agent...i think u can do it on your own...just use the hotel's website to book ur rooms...u and the guests can book your/their own travel...or combine on orbitz/ travelocity...i really hated our travel agent!!! - they sucked more than helped!!" I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your personal travel agent, but your advice to just go onto "Orbitz.com" to book your rooms is not the type of advice you should be giving to new brides. When you secure a group block for your rooms you receive a MUCH better price than what you see online. Your guests are also able to make a small deposit instead of paying the booking in full. None of your reservations are "linked" when you randomly go online and make bookings, and then you miss out on any group benefits from the resort.

Hola novias! Okay this might be a stupid question, but any brides know if Southwest airlines has a closet for my wedding dress at the front of the plane? We are booking air next week with them for the wedding. I just bought a second dress for the reception this weekend, and there is no way I am checking them and prefer not to put them in an overhead bin either. @@amanda50388 - thanks for the answer to the sweetheart table question

I let my bridesmaids choose their own dress - with specifications. I told them it had to be long and chiffon material and under $200 (cause I was paying for them). They all are a little different, and all look great in the dresses they picked

My wedding gown was actually purchased for a wedding that never happened a few years ago but was never worn. I went back and forth whether or not to use or buy a new one, so I went to the store and had them try it on me and I fell back in love with it. It was the man that messed everything up - not the poor dress! I did decide to jazz it up by adding a quarter sleeve jacket, and it made it look like a completely different dress. However, this past weekend I went to the store to get my bridesmaid's dresses and the lady there told me to try on this new style they got in. I tried it on and it was AMAZING! So I bought it for a reception dress. Figured we only get one day to enjoy this, so what the hell?!

Has anyone had the airbrush makeup at El Dorado Royale / El Dorado Casitas Royale? Good / bad? Trying to decide to use the spa onsite or to a hire another company and pay the outside vendor fee. My hair is ultra thin, and my face gets really oily/sweaty so these are especially important to me!!

Hola ladies So my Mom and I decided to go down to EDR in September for a little 3-night stay - we have some wedding planning things to figure out so that's our excuse to take a little trip down there I really down want to haul all this stuff down there and find out we either can't use it or find a place to use it so this is going to be a really trial run for us lol

Alright EDR brides: anyone know if Karisma charges an outside vendor fee for a makeup artist? I really want Beso Brides and hoping there is other birdes that snuck them in for only the day pass cost lol

Are you having your wedding at a resort? Because 99% of the resorts come with a free wedding planner.

The gazebo with the flowers on top alone was $1200, and each pillar you see is $300 a piece. We are doing 4 pillars and the gazebo setup.

So I got the response for the pricing on that ceremony setup - not that bad actually! But what I'm concerned about now is my wedding planner asked to pick my ceremony location and dinner reservation - we already have discussed this months ago! And then she sent me a "pricing sheet" which basically had nothing on it. I emailed her back and hoping she just had a major brain fart, but I'm a "little" concerned!!

Hola Ladies! So I found this ceremony photo on pitnerest, and wanted to see what you guys thought. I would do white covered chairs with tiffany bows instead of the chairs shown here, and then maybe do some tiffany blue parasols to line the aisle. I have the picture below Thoughts? I emailed my wedding coordinator to see if we can do this - I'm probably going to fall out of my chair when I see the price lol At the bottom I attached a photo of my centerpieces which are candelabras - We are planning on doing tiffany blue tablecloths with white runners and white rose petals at the base. Do you think we need to add anything else? Finally, I think I am going to buy my own laterns to hang at Tucanes bar - half tiffany blue and half white. How many do you think I should order?? I have no idea. Thanks!

I'm actually a travel agent so I'm doing it all myself - wish I had someone to do the work for me! lol

So I have about 16 rooms blocked with Travel Impressions at the moment for our wedding next March, and I have had to change the room block 4 times now due to my guests constantly changing their minds - and I'm about fed up!! People either say their totally in and bail, or they can't make up their mind on what category of room they want. Ugh. Anyone else have this problem with their guests?? Thoughts? Advice? I realize we have awhile, but it is still considered high season, and I see people blocking rooms for early 2016 and it just makes me nervous!! Hopefully Southwest will announce airfare for March soon so I can get something concrete down for these people.

We were wondering the same thing about people not eating the cake with a dessert, so I had my wedding coordinator sub the dessert for an appetizer and they didn't seem to have an issue with that Our cake was pricey! $750 - so these people better eat it! lol
