Has anyone had the blood test for the legal wedding? Did they bruise? If so any recommendations for covering it up. I'm worried any makeup on my arm will transfer to my white dress. -
Oh and my wedding is December 19th. We arrive the 15th! So close!

Our bridesmaids are wearing these pink high low bridesmaid dresses with cute flip flops. Our groomsmen are wearing amaretto coloured sperry shoes with khaki pants from Tommy Hilfiger and white shirts, no ties. My fiancé is wearing a taupe summer suit from Calvin Klein no tie with a white shirt. With my dress I'm wearing bedazzled flip flops. I paid for the girls dresses (because they won't wear them again) but the guys paid for their outfits The dresses are actually light soft pink, not like the photo.

I am trying to get more information about the items listed in the Unforgettable Package (I am getting the things listed in the 2013 package). 1. Room Upgrade - can anyone clarify if this is just from the Junior Suite to the Royal Golden Section? (I'm in COBA) 2. Upgraded in-room amenities - What are these? 3. Romantic Candlelight Dinner with Reservation (has to be requested before arrival - which I did). How is this any different from a normal a-la-carte dinner? 4. Keepsake wedding souvenir? What is this? 5. Stress free Jacuzzi/bath in the room? Do they just fill my bathtub for me lol? As for the gold bracelets we get, I asked Maria if this allows us unlimited a-la-carte dinners like I've read on the forums. She responded: "You will have the Gold Brazalate, it is part of your wedding package and is for identify you as a wedding couple- VIP for us, but it no means unlimited a la carte dinners.You will receive a special amenities in your room, a nice location and if you wish an extra dinner a la carte you can book it if we have availability in the Restaurant of your prefference." Does anyone know how many dinners I will get then? The wedding dinner counts as 1? I am just trying to figure it out.. The Royal Golden Section people get 4 a-la-cartes I think, we are staying 2 weeks, so that's 8, plus 1 extra used for the wedding dinner.

Just an FYI I got everything sorted out so that our Canadian photographer can take photos. Crisis averted. I also clarified that at the legal wedding we can do our own vows and a poem (although she didn't clarify when in the ceremony, she did say the legal vows and our own vows could be said one-by-one). Our witnesses do not need to stand for the whole ceremony (so say I wanted my dad to be one) we could just call on that person from the crowd at the time of signing. My wedding coordinator Maria pretty much told me not to listen to what's online. lol I guess different brides/different wedding coordinators end up with different information. Maria has been really good so far (it takes a while because she's busy sometimes) but I've been firmed up on location for ceremony, reception and dinner and many of the details for months and months. We are getting close we leave for the airport in 30 days 19 hours!

Hi everyone, Did anyone figure out if someone can do a reading at the wedding (poem) for a legal ceremony? Because its a destination wedding our wedding parties dwindled and we were left with an odd number. We had to ask someone to step down but I'd like to include her in the legal ceremony by reading a poem. Thanks!

They better! I don't know why they are giving me the run around. Apparently flight prices are increasing. I just want confirmation that there not going to give me a hard time about it so I can book her flight and accommodations ASAP. I don't know why Maria wouldn't just know the resort policy and why I have to wait to hear from the Photo manager. They seem to have way too much control in things. So territorial!

Amazing news!!! I have a wheat allergy and they query celiac disease. My blood test was partly positive and the scope broke during the endoscope so they couldn't get the sample to confirm. I avoid the stuff because it makes me so insanely sick. I think I might back some gf simply bars with me.

Omg, I am going to have a meltdown. If I can't have our Canadian Photographer come with us to do the photos. She is someone we have known for a long time. Originally I was going to use Arrecife but now she's available to come and is going to do it for a good price. I don't see how they can stop us from having a guest for a week come take photos during our wedding. Arrecife can take their 15 photos as part of the wedding package and call it a day. Maria just forwarded my email to Rocio or someone who is the manager over there. If anyone has any current information on this let me know. Or ways to problem solve. Emilie

Me too! I got a gluten free cake at my bridal shower because I was so bummed I wouldn't get to eat my wedding cake. I asked Maria if they can make a gluten free wedding cake. They did she they would accommodate my wedding meal since I'm allergic to wheat/gluten and also pork. Please let me know if you hear anything about gf cake.

Is the disco open at 11 on Thursday nights? The little resort map I have says Friday through Wednesday. We really want our guests to have the option to keep partying after our private reception ends at 11 but we are getting married on a Thursday.

Hey, Does anyone know if the disco is open on thursday nights? I am hoping that after our poolside reception from 8-11 at the Arrecife Jacuzzi bar in Coba, that we can go there to continue the party. Thanks. Emilie

I was informed that the Portofino now opens at 5:30. I'm not sure where you're having your dinner but It might not be open at 5.
