  1. Good for youu!!!! Haha I did the same, I tried on all these dresses I thought would be my top choice, and then went in a different direction a bit. As long as you're in love that's all that matters!
  2. Oh wow Candace, that is amazing! Good for you, were you seeing clients before you had your baby (e.g. all finished with your supervision hours?). 7 weeks ago, you must be so happy (and tired? lol). I am sure your body will work hard for you to be where you'd like by January. Where are you from if you don't mind me asking?
  3. Thanks!! My sis (and MOH) found the deal and brought it up to me, it was perfect for the different body types etc. We got the purple Loved the blue as well, we wanted to think about sweat etc, and to be safe (and knowing purple would be in our wedding lol) we went with purple!
  4. hey candacey! we purchased them through dealfind, it was an online deal - the company is found here though (don't mind the cheezy music lol!) http://www.wrapmagicskirts.com/convertible_dress_ev500.html
  5. Congrats! I was engaged April 6th don't know how u have made a top 5 lol I was so lost when I began! Knew nothing about resorts etc, good for you for having a top 5!!!
  6. I can see how many people want to know an apprx agenda for the week. I think at the same time though people want to know they can have the flexibility of going where they want, seeing as it is a vacation for guests in a way too. Also, booking things in advance can be pricey and our TA personally recommended waiting to get to the resort for things like this. E.g. a night out in cancun - there are people walking around with party bus services, and this will cost you much less than booking through head office beforehand. ALso, the money goes directly to the people at the resort instead of head office, which is something we are realizing more and more. I imagine I'll want to have some ideas for things to do too, so I'll follow along to see what others share!
  7. Hahah you are not a butthead! I would love to do figure someday. 8. Hi ya'll! I am looking into invites and was wondering what info you put in YOUR invites. I know we will need - the main invite card - the insert for RSVP - an insert for travel and accomodations If any of you have a word doc etc of ALL DETAILS you included, I'd love to see it! I want to ensure I put in all pertinent info for the invites, just don't want to leave anything out. Also, if any of you are in canada, what was the cheapest invite company you found? I am looking into wedding paper divas and Ann's Bridal bargains. I've also found cool ones on zazzle.... THANK YOU!

  14. Hey ya'll! After discussing current fitness goals and routines in another thread, I thought I'd introduce myself more and share my own fitness lifestyle and plans as I near my big day. Would love to hear from all of you ladies! Here's some background on me... My name is Katie and I live in Alberta, Canada Grew up in New Brunswick, played basketball and tons of group sports for the province, and generally loved being active. Once I began my Hns in Psych, the iron (ie. gym) became my passion. I came to love lifting deeply and since then have been educating myself, trying new things, and basically using my body as a test experiment Coming into my Master in Counselling psych, I really stepped up the training, and found a lifestyle that suited my goals - Fighter Diet, by Pauline Nordin. Her approach to workouts, nutrition, and much more inspired me to push myself further than I thought I could. Specifically, she helped me finally take the plunge into gaining the muscle I always dreamed of. For years I had trained and basically spun my wheels with undereating for the most part. In May of 2012, I began a very methodical and slow build to gain the muscle I wanted. I am very diligent with tracking, and there are simply no shortcuts to where anyone wants to go. So I have developed incredible patience with this process! A year has passed, and I am happy with how I've progressed, both mentally and physically. The mental aspect to training and this lifestyle is what keeps me going the most I think. So with a wedding coming up in early 2014, I plan on continuing to eat at my current surplus of calories until a small lean down a few months prior! I am going to continue as long as possible My training schedule is a 5 day split, although I am switching to a new type of program for next 4 weeks: day 1 - delts day 3 - legs (hamstrings - deadlifts, etc.) day 5 - chest/triceps day 7 - quad focus leg day day 9 - back/biceps Over next 4 weeks, I will be doing Kris Gethin's DTP program (bodybuilding.com). Here are some pics of me (trust me I am not a vain selfie photo taker, these are few and far between lol), along with Erin Stern who is a tall lady like me and is a fitness superwoman! (I am 5'10", not common to find tall women in the sport!) TRAIN HARD YA'LL!
  15. Hey Jennifer, that's awesome too! Love silver Yeah I see here on my mobile my pasted pic doesn't show up!
