Ah Bigcitybride, my sister is having her destination wedding at the Viceroy Anguilla in July 2015!!! They are going down July of 2014 to book the rooms, plan the menus, events, etc. & put down the deposit, but they have already been in touch with the wedding coordinator at the hotel, the photographer they are using & their florist. She's a little crazy about planning, but they're giving their guests a welcome/rehearsal dinner at Picante, which is a great mexican restaurant on the island. Then they're doing ceremony on sunset deck, cocktail hour around one of the pools & reception at Coba. They are then treating their guests to the breakfast buffet the next morning. Half of their guests are staying in two villas including them, family, bridesmaids, groomsmen etc. and they are having the kitchens stocked so that there is always food available. I know some people hire private chefs though, but that gets pricey FAST! For the guests not staying in the villas, they are giving each one a $100 resort credit to help offset cost of food. She is using Derrys Richardson for photography, his work is beautiful & prices are very reasonable, susan Croft is wonderful as well. She is also going to use Black Orchid Florists for flowers & lighting, but has spoken to Couture Concepts about a few things as well. Anguilla is absolutely stunning & if you do go with it, I am sure you are going to have the most beautiful wedding!
