I think a lot of people do not take destination weddings serious because they actually have to pay to attend the wedding. Please do not let anyone discrouage your wedding dreams. A destination wedding for me is very important, it allows my fiance' to have the wedding of our dreams. Best Wishes!

I would definitely recommend her, she can help you pick a budget friendly resort that meets your needs/expectations. I would also recommend creating a list of importance, within this list you write what is important to you for your wedding. 1)price, 2)location, etc... After this I would suggest you begin your research, contacting resorts in the Bahamas to find one that meets your needs for your date. I wish you happy planning!

You can definitely pull a wedding together in four months, it just takes a lot of planning. I would say you can begin by contacting resorts to see their availability. Since you are starting pretty late, you might not have many options with times. But I think you can definitely accomplish your wedding. Happy Planning!!!

Congrats!!! My advice to you would be for you to really make a list of what you want your wedding to be. Think of things that are very important to you and make sure you incorporate them into choosing your venue. I would also suggest doing research, this site has so much information and is a wonderful resource. Please do not get overwhelmed! Take the wedding planning day by day. I would also order a wedding planner to keep yourself organized with all of your plans; this will help a lot. 3,000 is reasonable not including travel. I would suggest Ocean Coral and Turquesa. They are a very budget friendly resort. I am also having a wedding on a budget and I have learned there are some things that I just do not need in my wedding. LOL Happy Planning,

Next, you should consider your budget this plays an important role in your options. Hi, Congrats on your engagement and wedding planning, I would recommend NOW JAde which is an excellent resort. If you want privacy, that will be a little hard considering there really isn't much privacy with a destination wedding. But if privacy is what you are aiming for you could stay at a great all inclusive resort and have your wedding at an off resort venue such as Blue Venado. Happy Planning!!!!
