I was thinking the same with the OOT bags - just give them out so i don't have to transport them. Another concern I'm having is with the photographer the resort uses. I have read many reviews on here saying its pretty terrible and the photos look like they are from the 80s. So we are hiring an outside photographer and videographer. Has anyone had any experience doing this? We don't mind paying the fee to bring them in but how do we make sure the company doesn't still show up on our wedding day? -
just less than 9 months til I get married there. Everything is happening so fast! Does anyone know when you have to send back your requests for flowers and whatnot? There are so many ideas that I'm looking at for invites, STDs, OOT bags etc. Is it worth bringing all that down or handing them out at a party before we all leave? Is anyone taking their own decorations?

I'm thinking of hiring outside photographer and videographer after reading all the reviews about the ones supplied by GS. Has anyone found a way around the 300$ charge? How did you get it to work out that the other ones that GS supplied don't show up? I was also told I only get the suite for the night, never thought it would be moving rooms more than once... How many months out do you have to provide all the wedding details? is it better to do it sooner than closer to the wedding date? Only have 9 months left and starting to get really stressed out!!

I'm booked for April 2, 2014! Can't wait to talk details with everyone! I submitted the deposit directly through the resort (that's what my travel agent told us to do) and I heard back within 24 hours that we got our date. Maybe send them an email and just ask?

Also, how long did it take everyone to hear back from the resort once you emailed the deposits?

Hi everyone, My fiance and I are down to 2 resorts for our end of March/beginning of April 2014 wedding. I'm really loving all the reviews and tips that everyone is giving for this resort and is slowing starting to inch ahead of everything else! If anyone has any of the catalogues (even if its from a year or two ago) it would greatly appreciated! We are hoping to book the presidential package, but we are going over Manitoba spring break so hopefully it (the presidential suite) will still be available by the time we book it! Thank you! Janelle
