I was thinking of a sunset cruise, but decided on a welcome BBQ instead. My travel agent recommended a group that does all types of excursions. If we use them we may get a discount bc it's like a sister to the TA company. So I don't know. They have a bunch of tours and there are a few places that are like parks that have zip line, cultural stuff, and just a variety of activites. That we we could all go and everyone gets to do something they like. My FI likes the tour where everyone drives like a mini speed boadt and we all end up at like a reef for snorkling. I like that one too. I need to contact the tour company to discuss the options. My center it just over 2CTs and TTW is about 2.6 The side stones are very small; one of my favorite things about this setting is how delicate it is.

So happy everyone is finding this thread! I finally emailed Cecilia for the first time today! We are going to plan a welcome party and either a brunch on Sunday or an excursion for our guests. What are you all dong other than the wedding?

Haha! Yes, ladies! I'm feeling the same way! I was kinda telling myself the same thing TuffLuv, but after people kept saying they were super excited to come, I got excited that a lot would attend! We are just trying to be ok that even though we had way more "oh yes we are definitely coming" responses than we expected; we may have a super small wedding with a quite random group of attendees! We do understand it's a lot, but even when I struggled more financially than I do now, I was still able to swing a short vacay about once a year or every other. We have had some people book already who are not on our closest friends list, but his parents still haven't. I'm trying not to take it personally. Ha! It is nice to vent and hear that we are not alone in all this! Plus, every review I've read has said what a wonderful time everyone had!

I'm so glad to have found this post. We were just planning on a super small party of my sis and his son. But now my sis is pregnant which is awesome, but also means she can't fly so won't be at our wedding after all. So we will feature his son as ring bearer or something and that's it. Honestly, I originally was thinking to not have anyone standing up with us. I just think it seems more romantic!

ARGH!! Another project!! Lol, so cute though!

Our ceremony is at 5pm. We are hoping to wrap up in time to get some good sunset pics in. I think my travel agent helped with that. But I hired Dean Sanderson for photography and he said that he thought it was a good time. I've never even been to Cancun, so I have no clue what it will feel like weather wise. I'm so excited for it all, but I get overwhelmed on here! LOL
