Yes alot of things have changed from what I noticed. In 2014 prices went up at the hotel and I guess amenities have changed as well. But let's hope for the best! It does look nice but def not worth all that $$$$

Bar Higuey does not include drapery from what I understand. Did you confirm if you get it with Tangerine? Aris told me its extra.

Did you know the Tiffany Chairs in the first picture are $12 each to rent? So the only ones that are free are the plastic ones covered in white with a color sash... ugh what a disappointment! Also, there's an IKEA about 5-10 min away from the resort for last minute things. I wonder if it's worth paying $15 to rent the cylinder or better to just bring my own and leave it at the resort unless my guests want to take it home with them lol I'm def doing my own centerpieces since it will prob look better and be cheaper than what they offer. That's awesome, well since I speak Spanish I just call my WC directly and try to hash out details on the phone or through email and she responds usually within 24hours so for now I'm ok. I'm all about not paying extra costs because apparently there's always extra prices thrown in and I'm not having it haha. Can't wait until you share your special day with us!

I did it through my bank to avoid 3rd party interruptions lol I spoke to my WC and she was fine with the direct transaction. Some banks charge fees definitely but I didn't have to pay it.

Girl this is the pricing for the bands at BBPD, I have the price list for the "extra" stuff. We wanted tipico too but not at this price and for half of the wedding is too much - Party lasts 3 hours. Perico ripiado (cultural music) *2 sets of 45 mins 708 Tropical Band *2 sets of 45 minutes 3000
