I have had good luck in the past. They have replied to my emails within 7 days, but my last one took over two weeks to get a reply. I called the resort directly and booked a few things las tweek cuz they had confused my ceremony time (11am) for another Jennifer from Canada (hers is at 4pm) in my last email from them. All good now. I don't think im going to do much upgrading. Im going there to have a beach theme so I don't really need to add anything to that, but Im not a fancy shmancy kinda girl anyways. Im bringing burlap ribbon for the chair ties and table decore, but thats about it lol I would really like to make decisions when I get there. I need to visualize everything before I make up my mind lol

We purchased our license yesterday! Our ceremony will be at the court house on September 30th (my dads 60th birthday, if he was still here) We are exchanging rings then doing the same thing you did lol Our Marriage certificate will not be mailed to us in time for when we "renew our vows" in Jamaica, so Vinnette said she would accept a Temporary marriage cerfificate. Phew! I was worried, but becasue we are only renewing the vows it's not as big of a deal. We don't want to waiste time on vacation dealing with lawyers and paper work, so were gonna do it all here first.

I paid my friend and her husbands deposit for the trip $400 total. this was also a good way to get them to come lol With the amount of women getting there hair done, it was cheaper this way. One of my bridesmaids is an esthetician, so she will be doing our makeup My maid of honor has an amazing camera, she will be taking some of the pics, we have the unforgettable package, so we are taking the 15 pics for free as well. To avoid any vendor fees, we are saying my maid of honor just got the camera and is still learning how to use it (this tip came from this site) and hair and makeup, we're doing ourselves. Can't wait to be in Jamaica saying "i do" to my best friend!!

So I just recieved an email from Kalfani stating my wedding ceremony was at 4:00pm (when is should be at 11:00am) and I almost died!! I just called the resort (because waiting for an email reply would take another two weeks) and talked to Vinnette (who is awesome) and she clarified my ceremony time is at 11:00am It was a confusion with another Jennifer getting married Nov 5th 2013, her ceremony is 4:00pm Jennifer, are you a part of this blog? I would love to chat lol I can't believe how easy it was to call her and have everthing taken care of in 20 minutes. Flowers, cake, dinner and ceremony all booked!! Sooo happy with there customer service....especially when she says "ya mon" lol !!

Yes, we come back on the 9th now instead of the 8th. It actually works out much better for everyone this way being that it's a satruday to saturday. this saves everyone from having to take friday to friday (only 5 days off of work now instead of 6)

We leave November 2nd now instead of 1st. Transat changed the flight date, apparently they can do that!! We are paying $1421 for Royal Golden taxes in,but they gave our TA the wrong quote and we booked before they noticed the mistake. we also have the same deal, after every 21st person we get one free, but still have to pay taxes.

Hi Ladies Has anyone purchased wish lanterns for their wedding? I REALLY want to have these as a part of our day. Where have you purchased them? We would also like to put bubba keg mugs in our OOT bags with the lanterns. Anyone know where to buy bubbas in bulk? Looking for at least 30 of them I FINALLY heard back from my first email to the wedding planner. Her name is DIANDRA....had anyone dealt with her before? Her title is "assistant wedding planner 2" I sent her an email asking her a few questions, but she seemed so adamant about the payment and deposit, my wedding is 9 months away. Hi ladies I have to say, joining this "blog" was the best thing I could have done for our wedding! I have taken so much info and great ideas from everyone and can't wait to use them for our own wedding First I would like to ask if anyone knows how many weddings GBP has per day? I have read there are 2 per day, but I find that hard to believe as my wedding is at 11:00am (yuk). I'm sure its more than 2 weddings a day, if that was the only time I was allowed to choose. I'm getting married November 5th and I was only given two options for my ceremony date. I booked it the second week of January 2013. Can't believe how fast they fill up if I booked 10 months in advance and was only allowed Nov 5th or 6th for ceremony choice. (going November 1st to 8th) I would also like to know if anyone has been married on the beach instead of the gazebo? I only have two wishes - sand on my feet and a cake to cut. Ive seen pictures of ceremonies on the beach but haven't read much from everyone as far as the experience. If my wedding ceremony is booked for 11:00am what time can I book our reception meal? Ive read 6:00 pm is the earliest....I don't like the idea of having the ceremony at 11am and not getting together for our meal until at least 6:00pm (that's a long wait) I would hate to tell guests to have lunch on their own.... That would be the last thing I would want to do Has anyone decided to get married in Canada before they leave?
