  1. I ordered all my flowers from afloral.com and was very pleased with the quality. You can tell they are fake, but not really unless you are right up next to them. I have never done anything with flowers or bouquets before, so honestly I am highly pleased with how these came out! For the price (probably cost me $100 all said and done) you can't beat it! The flowers through my resort were ridiculously high priced, so this was an alternative I decided to try out and I'm really glad I did. I made: 3 bouquets 2 corsages 7 boutineers The purple one in the center is mine and I am going to add a picture of 2 of my brothers that passed away in the charm that is hanging down. Like I said, I am very pleased with these and would definitely suggest afloral.com to any bride that is unsure. It's a huge money saver. Happy Planning, ladies! -Megan
  2. It's so infuriating... I have to pay $500 for the judge (but he is technically part of my very expensive wedding package) and then I have to pay another $500 for the symbolic ceremony! Makes me sick, but if I want to legitimately be married on that day then that's the price I have to pay. In the end, it's just money and the date is important to me.
  3. Thank you!! Ha! Don't feel lacking! I'm sure your wedding will be perfect and wonderful! I made this in picmonkey (picmonkey.com) and once you save it you can't really edit it unfortunately. So no, I don't really have a template. However, I googled "wedding ceremony program" and a ton of this kind of program came up. I had never seen it before but really loved it. I designed mine, but can't take credit for the entire "idea" of the wording, etc. I changed a lot of it to make it more fun and personal, though. I feel like most of the examples I looked at might have had a template, I just didn't use on bc templates drive me nuts. I like to just start fresh with my own thing. I feel like you could find a template for something very similar on google. hope this helps!!
  4. Love all of it!! I love the pop of color! Those bracelets are great!
  5. I LOVE love love your programs and welcome inserts and the fun pictures of you and your fiancé!... Those are great! How incredibly sweet that you have that poem to incorporate!!! I absolutely love the sentiment of that! That's too funny how we are so similar! I absolutely love his version of what a wonderful world as well, and I am also thinking- "I'm either going to have to pick less sentimental songs or only half listen bc if I really let myself completely get into the moment I might not last!! Haha I'll be same as you- a ball of tears and mascara and snot running down my face!! Lol Thank you for the compliments! I really do think I would love wedding panning or something similar with graphic design or something in this field and my FI keeps telling me the same thing! I don't really know how to get started but I think after our wedding ill have more time to look into it more seriously.
  6. Honestly, even though my detail sheet says I requested one, I kind of doubt that I will actually get one. That's why I'm just doing my own. Even though you printed everything already maybe you can just verbally ask a couple ppl from the wedding party (maybe BM, MOH, and parents) and have them do a quick little rehearsal and then that way the day of the wedding they will have an idea of what you want and they can lead other ppl to do that. I dunno... Just a thought. I'm sure it will turn out perfect either way. I feel like if they don't typically have rehearsals it must be for a reason, ya know?
  7. Well, goal accomplished!! I am sticking with the script I posted earlier this week and I have completed the design for the ceremony program. I haven't printed and put together all the programs yet, so I still have that project, but the design is done and the wording is finished (thank God!!). Here is a sample program I printed. It's front and back and each guest will get a raffia fan as well. What do ya'll think??

  9. Yeah... That's what I said- crazy!! It's not just a few bucks, either! I made a big stink about it so yet kind of sort of did something to help but barely!! Oh, well... They nickel and dime ya to death, but it's still going to be awesome and better than a wedding here in the states for the money...
  10. That's awesome! I have to say, now that it's done I'm happy with what I wrote and it's nice to be able to say I wrote it, but for what we had to pay to have the symbolic ceremony in addition to the price for the legal ceremony, I can't believe they didn't give me some script options like the pastor you found did for you. Oh, well, though- right? Lol I'm just glad I came up with something nice and sentimental and meaningful but not an hour long! Haha
  11. Stupid auto correct- at the end I meant to say that makes it easy to *not* have everything match!
  12. Did I respond to this? I'm losing my mind and can't even remember!!! Haha. Yes I'm using shades of purple. For the most part I'm sticking with a deeper "plum-ish" color purple but in definitely not stressing over every aspect of purple matching exactly. My bridesmaids don't have the exact same dress either, so that makes it easy to my have everything match.
  13. I requested a rehearsal an that is listed on my detail sheet. If they don't give me a for-real obe, I am still going to do my own with the wedding party before we go have the rehearsal dinner. I just feel like everyone will be so lost otherwise. I don't understand how people would know where to stand, etc.
