  1. Ohhh a temporary veil!!! That's such a great alternative. I love getting the best of both worlds. Thank you for sharing your experience!!!

Just wondering how you plan to carry it down with you The seller shipped it to us in a little poster roll. Great for travelling. Ours only holds up to 60 signatures, so 60 leaves on the tree.
  3. Sour keys!! Mmmmm Are you a mommy's girl or daddy's girl?

People like to know where they are supposed to be during weddings, very similar to herding sheep. Assigning tables also helps avoid having too many or too little people wanting to sit at the tables and ending up with uneven numbers at the tables and people moving chairs and place settings around to accommodate the table they chose to sit at. Assigning groups to tables and then letting people sit where they want at the assigned table worked great for us though! Hi MrsHK, thanks for the offer. I may take you up on that offer depending on how much we can stuff in our lugguage. How are you liking the move from BC to the Mayan? I'm jealous Tables and not seats sounds like a good idea. At least it'll provide a little bit of order to the process but enough freedom to let people choose their seats.
  6. I just started mine, I think I'm going to make it loop around the ankle twice at the top using the same pattern as the side with the hearts. I'll have my bridesmaid over this weekend to work on some for the guests.
  7. Love these ideas, keep 'em coming. Hopefully I'll have my centrepieces ready soon so I can post some pictures.
  8. So smart!!!! Definitely going to look into an idea like this. Thank you so much for posting.

  10. Oh boy... #2 and #5 I haven't even thought of. Thank you!!!
  11. Wow, thank you for posting. I haven't gotten around to deciding on hair yet but will keep checking back on this thread to help me decide. With all the choices of updo, down, half-up, veil, hairflowers, and hairpins I'm so overwhelmed. I'm so lost when it comes to hair and makeup so I'm glad that this thread is here to help me.
  12. I love all these bouquets. I've already ordered mine without brooches but now you've inspired me to add in my own brooches to give it some sparkle. Thanks ladies!

It took a very long time to get that last part right, but was worth it in the end. I just googled how to make one, searched on this website and then decided what the best way for me was. The bouquet that came in the package- they would not let me give it to a bridesmaid, so I just said I didnt need it. We didnt do a bouquet toss, because there was only about three single women/girls there, but if you were going to do that I would suggest getting the free bouquet for that! Good luck! You will love BBPD! It is amazing and Im ready to go back! HI Natalieblev, I love your bouquet!!! Did you get the broaches on Hobby Lobby as well? I love the elephant one and I think my FI would love that detail on mine.
  14. We're getting married in Mexico and my very crafty cousin made mini pinatas with numbers on them for our tables that we can fill with candies for a few lucky guests. I'm hoping to have a big pinata at our wedding as well but we'll try to buy one from Mexico. I'm still unsure if I want to assign tables to people or not. I'm ok with not assigning seats, but assigning tables might be fun to mix up the groups a bit.
  15. Definitely going to do this! Also thinking about reusing the pomanders from the aisle decor as well. So bouquets for head table and pomanders for the rest.

Sorry to hear that they weren't the right size for you. I'm sure people will still appreciate them regardless though.

  19. I'm on the fence. I really want to experience wearing a veil, but there's soo many chances for the veil to blow the wrong way. When the pictures come out right though, it always seems so worth it. Oh decisions decisions
  20. A cake topper! This thread reminded me that I still need to buy one of these!! omg how could I have forgotten? Thank you!!
  21. Oh booo.... has anyone seen a replacement for this tool?
